Was in the shower tonight and got to thinking, thank god we have members, putting the time in to publish all things Sunderland related, as without them there is no way you could keep abreast of the news, Now a lot of people say its only journo crap, especially on transfers, well so what it does 3 things, 1. keeps this board alive of news otherwise we would be like other boards ..dead 2. Show people and other fans, we are in the spotlight being linked here and there. 3. gives me a reason to log on as i want to keep up to date. So lads anyone who posts lets be positive and thank them, as i think we are becoming spoilt for choice. And as for new signings, we know it will happen, but who and when evades us, so we just have to sit and wait. However one of those journalists out there knows who, and when, and the fun is deciphering the truth from the lies, like the Carroll story today. Do we really want to end up with 3 or 4 contributors, as everyone else is scared of being ridiculed for what they thought was a good story, that would be appreciated from like minded fans. So in closing can i say lets get behind all the 606ers and not just the team, as without them this would be a lonely place. P.S. anyone in doubt just look at the bottom of the page at guests viewing, or how many threads an article get of views compared to responses.
I concur. 68 visits & finally a reply. The thing that pisses me of most is when someone posts a news item that already been posted gets shot down by the self righteous when all they were doing was posting something that they thought would be of interest.
Scatty Moo excluded... It'd be ok, if we never had so many cross board threads.. 5 of the ****ers now on the first page.. Can we stop this trend..
I just posted on the "Judas Hendo" one..... The downside of all there cross treads. It's a shame we don't have a cross thread block option as with posters
Sick of them.. Expect we have many members who have **** all interest in what the mags are doing, let alone what they have to say.
Personally I never really ever cared about what NUFC was up to but with their carry on when this site is infestted by them I now seen to have aquirred a dislike of them.
Regarding transfer news, I find myself in the strange mindset of not being particularly concerned...We have Wickham and now Campbell on the verge of returning to the squad which should see us ok on the striker front, and the defence and midfield are now performing really well. Having said that, if we do sign a player or players that will improve on what we already have, then all the better...
I simply wish that the filthy mags would stay off this board - especially CHUMPAR$E who is a prize tool. I now rarely comment when a thread has been infested by these total cocks. Bart
I'm afraid to say mate the Mags on our board are a fact of life. The best way to discourage them is to ignore them. I've posted many articles on this board, I think I've cross posted one of them, or maybe two. Whilst I understand this may encourage our Mag chums it was a subject where I genuinely wanted to hear their views.
Some cross threads are interesting enough but I agree a lot are posted simply so the dick-head element can stir **** and then claim 'oh well it's on our board'... Feel the same way about our visitors.. a few are sound, a few are complete ****-stains while the majority are okay on our boards but become ****-stains about us on their own board.
I agree it can be a bit cliquey on here but then again those posters do tend to be on here morning noon and night so you'd always chat to your friends more wouldn't you. I've not experienced much of the ridicule of opinion but you are right it should be chatty and not taken too seriously as some seem to do from time to time. Most of my comments go without reply but that is fine I just take that as my point was best..... HAHHAHAHAAH foolish mortals
I agree Reg. The only thing that would interest my member is news of a LB! As to your OP Roger, when the same players are mentioned over and over again, I end up stopping reading never mind commenting.
