He's getting plenty of game time here, would be surprised if they mess with a winning formula.

Question will be where foster plays as if he plays at left back which is his natural position then mcgivern would lose his place. I think we will prob see foster go right back and skuse back in to midfield, short term

Without being disrespectful to Barnsley,if RM wants to stay here and city want him, then he will not be going to Barnsley.

Del s/be talking to Mancini about making this deal permanent. Has been a good addition to our team, still young and will have to wait forever to play 1st team @ MCFC.
Red Robin is correct - he's playing well here - why would this Barnsley interest come to anything unless he has some reason to be more northerly based?
Don't we have him for the whole season on loan?

Not sure what I make of McGivern. Sometimes he looks very capable and other times he looks really slow especially when anyone with pace runs at him.

Not the end of the world if he leaves as far as I'm concerned.

'Not sure what I make of McGivern' - Nor me.

All I know is that Millwall winger had him on toast. McGivern 'stood off' so much 1st half, it was poor beyond words. Sorry but that's 'basic'.

He is good going forward though, his crossing has impressed me. To be fair, since Del boy has come in, we haven't shipped many goals at all so I say stick with what works.

As I recall, the Millwall winger looked good against the whole team that day, red hot in fact.
I even put him in my best of Championship team.
Not above the great Adomah of course, but a real handfull on the day.
Maybe we could swap him for Bolasie

'I even put him in my best of Championship team' - 1st half he was as you say 'red hot'.
However it was totally different 2nd half and only because McGivern stood 2 yards closer - we didn't even 'double up' on him either like Adomah confronts every game.
So for me the winger's decent but would like to see more of him before he'd get in my 'Championship' team.

He doesn't look like someone that's attached to (however loosely) Manchester City that's for sure !
