For sods sake what is it with all this thread locking? Utterly pointless IMO, pull your head out syd and proud fox, totally unnecessary!

Anyway Filberto, what are you expecting of my recipe? I'm intrigued to know what you think it'll be!

I live not far from Leicester, makes me smile how many times I've had Lesta fans ask if we'll swap Judas for Nick Barmby.

Have to let you know tomorrow Bob I'm afraid ... going straight from work to watch a bunch of underachieving, overpaid excuses for footnallers attempt to limp past an even worse bunch of tree hugging inbreds and on through to 4th round humiliation against Swindon.

Since their seems to be NO actual banter on this thread at all, may I suggest we change the title to the "The therapeutic Leicester-bashing thread"? If it helps the Hull fans get over losing the best manager they ever had to us, then that's fine by me.

I dare not ask what is the right way, incase I'm doing it wrong

I locked one thread so all this thread locking is OTT and it was locked because the message is there and no need for anymore to be said. Why proud fox is mentioned shows that assuming can be a bad thing.

No Barmby is already having a manager who is a true fan is what every club wants.

As achievements go Phil Brown is our greatest manager

By coincidence - got a cousin lives in Barwell - Cherry Tree Close? I think - plus 3 other elder family residences on the border with Shilton ... so please don't bomb it!!! My late Uncle owned the shop on Station Road (think it's a Spar now maybe) in Shilton for over 20 years 'till he retired and sold out.

Technically you're correct, but he was given **** loads of cash to get you promoted, and even more in the Prem, which he wasted on over-rated and under-performing players like Bullard. You looked set for League One until Pearson came in and turned you into the promotion contenders you are today (although Barmby is doing his best to blow that now) so it's clear that Nigel Pearson saved you from oblivion.

I've always wondered how that spar remains in business, there's always gangs of umpteen chats hanging right outside the front door, never seen anyone else go in there and I bet the chats don't pay for much either!

Edit: chavs not chats, silly iphone

As long as your not having anal sex with a man your safe.

And I'm just finding it annoying that a few threads have been locked or closed over the past few days for no reason at all when theyve been good natured, harmless and fun.

Wasn't really given '**** loads of cash' before the promotion was he? Folan £1million and Okocha's wages, that's about it. Compared to Mills £5million, Beckford £3/4million etc. Nigel spent more at City last season than Brown did I'm fairly sure of that. Brown achieving promotion and keeping us there was exceptional and seems to be overshadowed by what followed but people seem to forget how much of an achievement that was. I didn't think we were set for League One (certainly not after the Allams came in), maybe that was just you. Barmby seems to be doing a lot better than Nigel though ey ...
