Goodness me. What has stirred up all this red vitriol. Could it be that post honeymoon they are back to relegation form. Eight points from eight games!

he didnt reject us as we didnt offer him the job. his agent sent an application for pesch applying for the job. higgs wanted a cv and also speaking to references which was the burtons chairman. burtons chairman gave the info put the pesch withdrew his application as his wife didnt want to move to bristol and burton offered him a bigger budget if he stayed.

managers do that all the time. fair shout to pesch as it worked. he used rovers to get more money from burton.

johnson did alright with you. he did alright with yeovil. but speak to northampton fans and see what they think. just because johnson didnt do well at northampton doesnt mean he is ****e. mcghee won promotion with most clubs he been at which 1 of these was for brighton beating city in the play offs. he got a scotish team who were fighting relegation into europe finishing 3rd in the prem. so it didnt work out at aberdeen. doesnt mean a thing :)

If you stopped losing to fourth division sides in the league we might have the possibility of a derby one day!

    Maybe even "swap places" <laugh>

C'mon CJS ! Pesch and wife (Karen Brady) aren't stupid nor are they poor people or adverse to moving between football clubs, but when managing a team in Burton On Trent (another right **** hole) looks more appealing than managing 'the other team' in our fair city, then it doesn't take a Stephen Hawkin to figure out why.

Compare what.. whether you are 1,2 or 3 leagues below us...?

What "gasheads" keep quietly forgetting is we are a Championship side and they are in the lowly depths of the 4th tier...

"gasheads" new groundsman at the minimal.....

Enjoy the difference while you can Wiz, because the way your lot are heading certainly aint upwards. Current form has returned to relegation. You are perilously close to the nasty black line. Think a little about where you would be if you hadn't caught Soton in a patch of huge loss of form. ( they were at the bottom of the current form table).
Have the courtesy to give the Gas guy a few games before you slag him off completely.
I do agree with CJS however. Mac has had 48 hours in post and we are still 18th in the table. He needs to get his finger out sharpish.

Come on you City fans, lets all wish good luck to Mr McGhee and hope he can perform miracles by stopping the rovers slipping into the Conference and beyond.
