Does this mean MH thinks he can work something with the strikers we have in Bothroyd, DJ, Mackie, HH and whoever else he still has in the backup squad??? Add Henrique to that. But is that enough? Now we've got all these defender-types coming in. Taiwo is an attacking defender. OK. Fine. Alex is a solid CB. OK. Fine. Onuoha, another. Then we'll have Joey (yeay! haha) and Tarbs coming back.

Come on, let us know that you're looking at least another couple more really good strikers!!!! Proven, experienced scorers? (yeah I guess that's an oxymoron, who would want to sell their really good, experienced, proven striker, eh, for a lowly sum ?)

 

Alternatively, we might actually be interested in a player without the need for it to be leaked to every journalist and blogger in the world, desperately trying to be the first to say "Journalist X 'understands' that QPR are linked with Player Z" while reaching for their kleenex. I'm quite happy for these plebs to write about how we're putting in £8million bids for centre-halves when we're probably looking at completely different players.

 

Unfortunately is seems he rates Bothroyd but I really cant see why.
It seems he doesnt rate DJ though.

i still think we need one top quality forward in addition to Henrique.

 

He's proved he can move stealthily in the market with Taiwo, so I've got hope there

 

Yup, I want another good, solid, skilled striker with a good head - as a backup to HH, as HH is the older of them and his legs may not last to the end of every game to the end of season. We need somebody who can get up as high he does, and win balls in the air for us. That's who I would like to see.

 

until it's on the offish it's not true - both Alex and Onuoha have both being reported as 'done deals' with only other parties related to the player to refute that it is.
