What are the odds on us signing absolutely f*ck all new players before the end of the transfer window? Everyone we have been linked with previously is either not for sale or can't get a work permit. The way we are going I reckon we will be lucky to see anyone arrive.
The last week will be manic for a lot of clubs. We won't get all our targets, but a bit of quality in should take Hughes a long way. And may be he'll get some of our existing players, Barton, SWP up to the way they can and should be playing.

Either for cash or to reduce their wage bill, so there is a bargain or two to be had yet. I liked NW but Sparky's buys will be better, and more what we need than what we can get.
