Liverpool love playing Bolton. Might be wrong but think they have won the last 10 games against Bolton.
Chelsea drew, Newcastle lost. Anyone want to stick their necks out and say we will capitalise on this opportunity? It will be the third we have had in a month to get clear of these two and Pool. I'm cheering on Bolton. If there's another side besides Spurs I would rather not see above us, it's that north-western club. Too many bad memories from my early days I guess
It does look a tough one Mr PNEawf. If only we were without those injuries. Our management knew what the fixture list was like back in December and while the two losses were not exactly expected, bringing in no one won't help our cause. This time last year we needed a defender and didn't buy one. The manager's the same. The tiresome CEO is still in office. His hopeless negotiating sidekick is still in tact so why should this year be any different? Get rid of some of those men in suits. Enough is enough.
So basically Henry,Arteta and TV all doubtful for you Rio doubtful for us and what was your favourite goal yesterday
arsenal fans writing off their team clearly havent been payng attention this season. utd are just as inconsistent as everyone else, all bets are off when the big teams play each other. we got trounced by newcastle already this month, we're not exactly on fire.
While I do appreciate that Utd like Chelsea have not been consistent this year and that Newcastle who had beaten them this year were trounced yesterday, it remains that Arsenal's problems are ongoing. Utd have beaten us this season albeit at the early stages when we were unprepared resulting in a most unlikely outcome but Chelsea apart, we have not managed to beat one of the Top 7 teams in addition to which all our firepower appears to be concentrated on one man and most of our men at the back and some others we had been counting on, are unavailable for this meeting. While it may be argued that on such occasions, all bets are off, there are ' on paper ' strengths and scenarios that offer food for thought.
True, but then in the 'on paper' scenario Liverpool are ahead of Bolton and Chelsea are way ahead of Norwich. And City are 12 points clear at the top of the PL. That's the great thing about football - the on paper scenarios generally aren't worth the paper they're written on.
