This is Saintanton we are talking about here...I think you should be more worried about where else he has been putting them.

 

The only way Carroll will succeed at Liverpool is to be played consistently with Steven Gerrard, service from Lucas, Gerrard, Adam and Downing would bring Andy to score at least 15 in a season maybe more... once he has got a run of form going the confidence will be restored and his attitude would improve.

 

The problem is not Carroll! It's the supply. It's crap. Carroll will score goals if wide players get to the byline and cross decent balls.

Carroll needs to improve his pace and chase lost balls as well!! He gives up too easily.

I still don't know what to think of Carroll, at Newcastle the whole team was based on him being a battering ram and winning headers and he did well, but it would never have got us higher than 8th at most. At Liverpool he's not even the main striker and the team is built around Suarez, why did Kenny buy wingers for the cross to Carroll and then play the wingers on their opposite flanks so they cut inside and shoot instead of crossing? (Downing in particular, who can't score to save his life, 1 goal is a poor return for £20m.)

Carroll seems like he is homesick and he apparently goes and watches the Newcastle games whenever he can and spends alot of time in the city, he doesnt seem mentally stable at Liverpool and his head is elsewhere. However if Kenny can get the best out of Carroll and starts playing to his strengths he has a good player, not a world-class £35m player, but a good player, good enough to lead the line, but i don't think hes good enough to lead the line of a top 4 club and since Liverpool are aiming for that, he isn't really what they need and they should of bought a natural finisher to replace Torres, because Torres was a natural finisher.

To be fair I remember after we drew 0-0 at Leicester I posted on my facebok status 'Andy Carroll please can someone sign him for £1 million', got a reply saying no thanks off a Sunderland fan. After that he couldn't stop scoring till he went to Liverpool. So can see him improving and proving the critics wrong for Liverpool.

Honestly think they should play Gerrard on the right and Downing on the left. Carroll up top with Suarez, Adam and Spearing maybe in the centre. Downing is wasted on the right in my opinion, always goes for glory himself.

 

I honestly think we should shoot Carroll and sell him to the glue factory.

 

And buy Falcao in the summer, that is all.

 

At least the ball would stick to him better then.
