I asked this question the other night, would you prefer Gylfi signed in the summer or a fit and raring to go Ferrie Bodde with a decent pre season under his belt? From what ive seen so far and considering Gylfi isnt fully fit i think i would prefer him to Bodde, though in a perfect world both together would be mouth watering !! Thoughts on Gylfis first minutes for the Swans ??
No offence but haven't we done this? Besides, Bodde ain't coming back any time soon so I suppose it should be 'Gylfi or Kemy'? Just a thought. A good distraction though.
Good distraction from what? I cant take you that seriously as you support Newcastle utd, and are retired from the message board due to it being full of knob jockeys Please stick to the OP PS Im not intrested in your personal quest against me,water off a ducks back, remember that you left last time because you could give out stick but couldnt take it back,i have refrained from giving it out to you since you returned because i felt bad about your son having a mini stroke, and as you said yourself there are more important things in life, i havent sought any conflict with you since your return but you have, i gave you sympathy and respect and wanted you to return to the board but i guess some people such as yourself truely lack class. Feel free to keep up the bitching if you wish ,i steered away from it for the good of the forum, the MODS have seemed to have disappeared in terms of dealing with you constantly bringing down the threads so i will therefore assume its ok to throw Personal insults around and go off topic when ever it suits. The fact your the fist post on my new thread tells me and many others you have a real hard on for me The fact i let you insult without much return means i have the high moral ground, considering the sympathy i gave you and your son morals are something you clearly lack, maybe stick to the Newcastle board eh?
Norway does it really matter which one you prefer? Bodde is a swansea player so its not as we have to buy him. Gylfi is a really good player which i would like us to sign in the summer. a midfield of JA FB GS would be amazing really attacking. i think you the one that is having a go at cracker here not vice versa. but with your negative thoughts about how we play and about players you do get on peoples tits. yes its a forum and you can write what you want try and see it from others peoples points of view. dont be so harsh on the team you support or the players.
Gylfi looks like he is worth the £7m quid the German side paid for him, Bodde in his pomp ? well, there wouldnt be much between them, gylfi looks like he has a better engine than Bodde of old and its for that reason i would go for Gylfi. Kemy has done well since he came back from loan, gower seems to have fallen out of favour completly which is a bit harsh but i guess understanable considering the competition for places
up the jacks- my last 7 articles are as follows. 1. Gylfi or Bodde. 2. very poor performance dont beleive the hype. 3 .No bodde for the reserves. 4. Tune into talksport now. 5. Van zweden v agent. 6. The missing link has arrived. 7. what the papers say. Cheers
aswan- Another contender for most pointless article of the year 2012 predictions(by aswan) "My first prediction is that all those who think the cavalry are going to arrive in large numbers in the January transfer window are going to be bitterly disappointed. Maybe 2 or 3 new players will come in and we will spend £2-3 million. Quite what impact they will have on the team’s performance, who knows, but by and large the squad which we already have will have to be the squad to keep us up. The fact (or not, as the case may be) that other teams will be spending big to stay up is an irrelevance. Next, I believe that Brendan will keep the same style and formation to the end and will keep to the principles which got us here in the first place. This will not please everybody but we are still in a decent position despite what some are saying. We will continue to try and dominate possession, persist with two wingers and a lone striker. My third prediction is that 36 points will be enough to keep us up. Over the last 10 seasons the number of points required to stay up (one more than the 18th place team to avoid issues of goal difference) has been 40, 31,35,37,39,35,34,34,43 and 37. The 18th place team this season currently has 15 points which is about the lowest number of points that any 18th place team has achieved in the last 10 years at this stage. Fourth, we will get 2 away wins before the end of the season. We have still to play a lot of bottom-half teams away - Bolton, Wigan, QPR, Fulham, Sunderland, West Brom. The flip side is that a lot of top teams are still to visit the Liberty and our good home record will get worse. Michel Vorm will be voted Swansea City’s player of the season. My sixth prediction is that we won’t give the FA Cup much priority and won’t go beyond the fourth round, if that. Lastly, and most importantly, we will beat Wolves 2-1 at home on 28 April 2012 to secure our place in the Premier League for a second season, with 2 games to spare. " love the fact you fancied us for a win at Sunderland
Dont forget the article about the seats at the liberty by knackered jack "Seats n' Dorus " by knackered jack Two for one time: First, and it's only a small point I know, but does anyone else think that our dugouts look rubbish? I know the seats are practical but, come on. We're in the Premier League now. We should definitely have those sporty Recarro type seats in black and white leather. They look the part and would reflect our new status. The games are now beamed around the world, and whether we like it or not image is important. They'd probably be paid for through sponsorship, and may have the effect of of making away managers not looking quite so forlorn as poor Arsene did on Sunday. Just a thought. I know that these things aren't big on anyone's agenda, nor should they be, but what do you think? Secondly, poor Dorus: Very selective boys, very selective
what im saying your negative to certain players such as Bodde. the very poor preformance dont belive the hype it wasnt poor we were away from home how many of our fans thought we would of beaten them there a different team under MON they shut out Man City for 90 mins then caught them on a counter attack. they done their homework on us simple as that
Try an article that isn't " Bodde's finished " or " whose better than Bodde or after one of our losses ": we are crap . I know you were a big fan of Sousa & couldn't wait for the door to hit Leon on his way out the door . How about an article on Sousa ( gone for 2 years ) & Britton ( was gone for a year ) & where they are now , what and how there doing ... Looking forward to it Cheers !
two different players .one has skill and young and the other spends his time in the treatment room. no competition really...
up the jacks-Thats your view and your entitled to it, everybody has their views on performances and also players, there are many that dislike orlandi for example , you said that i am harsh on the team and players but after giving you the list of my last 7 articles i think its fair to say thats not the case! More to the point , this is a completly different thred and a positive one but you and many others are content to drag it down into the gutter, thats not my fault is it? read the OP and read the following comments and you will see where im coming from
I like Glfi as a player and Bodde along with britton were my favourites , but to me i think Glfi is able to get much more out of Graham than any of our other midfielders, if we stayed up and had a chance to sign him then it would probably cost us at least £6m quid!! i think that kind of investment would be worth it,i dont think we would need to strengthen massively as alot of our players have proved up to it, so a big signing could be possible. Of course we dont know how well he will do overall but its looking good from him so far
What are you doing back here ... thought you were working on an article Lol !! I'm had the biscuit on here for awhile . Better take a seasbatical . A beautiful team , playing the beautiful game , a beautiful way with a beautiful bank account & facing so such critisizm , critizizm , harshness from within is to much to bare sometimes on here & makes me boil . Maybe see ya in the future .. Swansea rule !!!!!
