Williamson is a very slow player, giving him speed in the 60s in unrealistic. Extreme examples, but look at Mertesacker/van Buyten's pace on the game. You arent changing it to make it easy on yourself, you're changing it to be realistic.

Is anyone having trouble with Xbox Live?

 

That's exactly what I'm trying to do mate. I try to give the players realistic ratings, and most of the time, after my edits, the players are like what they are in real life.

This is why I'm always asking for peoples opinions on here, however, some people don't realise that I'm not just picking these ratings out of thin air, I know how certain stats effect the game.

I was actually thinking about decreasing it because he does look a little bit too fast when I play with him, I think around 57/58 for pace would be about right.

I like having players with weaknesses really. It makes the game more exciting. Like when a player with pace is up against my CB's, I have to put a challenge in perfectly, I can't just try and wrestle him off the ball. If the player I'm playing against is using a player like Aguero with good balance on the ball and class acceleration, It's an absolute nightmare, and seeing as the CB's I'm using don't have great pace and aren't tackling masters like Kompany and Thiago Silva, you need to time your tackles perfectly.

I hate using 5 star teams, I makes the game too easy.

Anyway mate, what do you think of my ratings for players pace that I posted before.

I gave Colo 79 acceleration, 75 sprint speed.

Saylor, 72 acceleration, 73 sprint speed.

Willo 60 acceleration, 63 sprint speed, but I think I'm going to edit Willo down and see how Acceleration 55 and Sprint Speed 58 is like, because I must admit at times, even at 63 sprint speed, Willo looks a little bit too fast like.

 

79 Acceleration! Jesus Christ Colo could be a decent winger with that sort of pace.

 

Tash, out of curiosity, what do you have Cabaye's pace stats as? His defaults are: Acceleration -69, Sprint Speed - 77. However, I feel his acceleration should be mid-70s as he feels quite slow and in reality his pace is quite good for a central midfielder.

 

79 acceleration isn't mega acceleration, and Colo is quick off the mark, just not over a long distance. He uses his acceleration to get past players in tricky situations sometimes.

 

I think I've got his pace stats at 75 acceleration, 76 sprint speed.

 

I really try to give career mode a good go, but I don't know how you lot can stand it.

I dominate most of my games, but what chance to I have when I continously concede ridiculous goals like this?

Here's my results so far

Newcastle 3-4 Arsenal - Everything that left RVP boot ended up as a goal.
Sunderland 0-0 Newcastle - Hit the post twice, and was in on goal, Brown smashed straight into me when I was in the box, no contact on the ball, no penalty....
Newcastle 2-2 Fulham - Was winning 2-1 until the last minute where ****ing Andy Johnson... yes ANDY JOHNSON, the 5ft 6 inch baldy twat, managed to outjump WILLIAMSON in the box, and score a header.
Qpr 2-3 Newcastle - I won it, but you saw a glimpse of the **** I have to put up with.

 

Have you not seen Colo dominate the wing on a counter? With a cheeky step over and then a blast of pace to beat a man.

 

It's not like you're the only one who gets it.

I finished 7th in my first season and 1st in my second, you just get use to it.

 

It is slightly boring to win all games on career mode

I hate it when poeple bring that up. Colo is quick over a short distance, but he's not quick enough to catch quick players up over a long distance in a highline.

People have just totally over reacted to those games and think Colo now is slow as ****.

 

Colo is a quick CB, but even quick CBs are usually not going to be as fast as quick attackers.

 

This! Colo is quick for CB, but you can't expect him to keep up with fast players in a high line.

 

I think Tashs stats for pace are right for Colo and Tayls. Bit high for Willo. What are your long shot stats for Vuckic out of interest?

 

Hmm, it's tough. On quite a few of his apps he's shown good technique for shooting.

But I didn't go over board on it. I just put shot power 81, long shots 79. He's not done it enough for me to put it higher. I don't really use Vuckic much anyway.

 

I just had a game on Ultimate Team where i had 13 shots on target, the other guy had 3. I lost 1-0 Fabio's a **** of a goalie.
