I agree, he will be like a new signing, and when we get back to the prem, what would his sale price be?

He's pretty lame when off-form. But he's awesome when he's on form.... Let's hope we see more of the latter.

We should all be giving him a fresh slate too, it's really time to get behind the team, COYR <ok>

a clean slate is good for everyone. JP is a decent player on his day, so will fill that need we had for a new winger.

This is actually really good news. I'm happy that the air has been cleared and we potentially have a new signing! Now the fans just need to get behind him and hopefully we will see JP playing well again in a Saints shirt :)

  8. Good news indeed and we certainly need someone of his calibre. Afterall he was scoring goals in the PL last season whilst on loan. Holmes and De Ridder don't quite cut if for me but JP, if he hits top form, will be a great addition. The timing is good considering Lallana is injured as well.

  9. It's a boat now not a bus. We are all rowing in the same direction.

Hmm, hopefully he will have learnt his lesson and get his head down and work hard. I'm willing to see him giving a chance, but still have a feeling he'll **** it up some how.

I see this as bad news. Makes me feel we wont be getting any quality players in soon and we have had to resort to keeping Puncheon. Hope I'm wrong and that he performs well. One bad game and I can see the crowd turning on him.

Interesting. Maybe some targets not being secured?

If NA and NC have forgiven him, then we must accept him back too. He really must show a very strong attitude on the pitch now.

The winner against Cardiff would be a good starting point.

I hope he's sincere, if he is, then we may just have covered a valuable position. Keep your head down Jace, actions speak far louder than words.
As sussex says, we need to get behind him & give him this chance, just hope he takes it with both hands.

I thought this too at first, but actually of all the other wingers we were linked with, none were any better than puncheon. With Lee being a free transfer, I can still signing another striker.

Like him or not, we have to make sure he's welcomed back with a positive attitude from us as well as from him. If he gets booed by anyone it's hardly going to help. This is a big chance for him and we need him at his best.

Great news. He may have been abit of a tit and made mistakes but so do we all, the rise to fame and money which a footballer achieves especially at a young age isnt an easy thing to deal with and can lead to immature actions. Jason has appoligised and the club have been big enough to accept it and move on. Please please lets get behind him as with any player who wears the red and white I thought part of the problem the first time round was the fans actions so we now have an oppurtunity to show him this is the place to be COYR.
