True...even 1 down there just seems to be no grit and determination. I can't help but wonder if the team talk involved our focus being on the league...
No real desire and no threat upfront apart from HH, so maybe Hughes told them to keep it tight at the back (which we did), hope for a goal on the break and don't get injured with Villa coming up ?
"Moments earlier Chelsea should have had a penalty when Hill tripped Sturridge." I imagine that this incident might had played into the penalty decision.
Wasn't a pen but we didn't deserve anything out of that, rubbish, no desire nor passion showed nothing of the first 45 min from the league match. Haven't heard MH interview yet but i'm guessing he isn'y very happy, only reason we weren't on the end of a big score was Chelski being absoluely dire as well. Bad game, shows how far we need to go. On the bright side it's only the FA cup.
Never a penalty, another terrible decision by yet another terrible referee. Do you think that the FA/Premier League ever get embarrassed by just how awful their officials are? However, we were poor, I got the impression the players were told by MH that it wouldn't be a bad thing to go out of the competition. Certainly with important games Wednesday and next Saturday, once we went a goal down, I don't think MH fancied another game a few days after Wolves and before Blackburn. Anyway boys, could be worse............we could support Chelsea.
No surprise the scum had to cheat to win. At least they had someone seriously injured, I was taking a piss at the time but were the fans shouting "scum scum scum" at him as he was being stretchered off? If so, nice one lads.
"Nice one"? "Scum scum scum" shouted at a player with a serious injury? A little over a year ago, we were rightly berating Diuof for doing the same to Jamie Mackie after his leg break. I assume that your attitude means we can now berate and abuse you for having the same attitude, and all of the so-called 'fans' that shouted this vile abuse at an injured player. People with attitudes and approaches to their support such as this sicken me.......
People did it when he first went down but stopped shortly afterwards and then the guy climbed on the cameramen podium thingamagig
The abuse was directed at JT as far as I could tell, certainly don't condone having a go at someone being stretchered off.
That was just about the best part of the match. How funny was he? ' He's Queens Park Rangers, he does what he wants! '
It was directed at Terry, he was hovering about the player down and then had a look up at the Q,P,R blocks direction while walking about looking like a scumbag
You're right, he was so close to biting but just managed to hold back and turn away. That was the only positive today, being able to let him know how we feel. The rest was pants and undone by a genuine dive for the penalty.
