No reason why he couldn't use Adobe software on a PC though. I doubt he's going to go out and blow well over a grand on an otherwise meaningless laptop when he could practice on his current system with industry standard stuff.

Depends which film editing software he plans to use. Adobe CS works on both platforms (Even though that's more graphic orientated), whereas industry standard film editing software generally does not. EDIT: When did Adobe do a movie maker?! <laugh>

A decent enough PC based film editing software is Sony Vegas if you don't want to buy a Mac Tash.

Final Cut doesn't, obviously. Adobe Prem Pro with After Effects does the job fine and can be considered an industry standard. So if it works fine on both platforms, why would I recommend somebody who may or may not be interested in persuing it as a serious interest to go and fork out over a grand on a system?

I did edit my comment as I wasn't aware Adobe did a movie maker.

Ah gotcha. Agree on Vegas too, it is the most underrated video editting software out there. I still use it.

I wear my badge with pride. I haven't seen any input from you other members.

I agree it's very underrated. A few people on my course use it as they didn't want to shell out money on a Mac, I was shocked at how good it actually is.

A lot of people are fooled by it because it also has a lot of beginner friendly features and has a far simpler GUI to the likes of PremPro. Makes it seem like a simple program but there is a hell of a lot 'under the hood' so to speak. You can work a lot faster in Vegas than other software too.

Definitely not Emo, I stand stand Emo's.

I'm not totally goth, but I do like gothic style music, art and like dark things, but I don't dress all in black or anything. I basically dress normally but with band t-shirts on.

I'd say I'm slightly goth, but not like the south park goths who cry about pain and **** like that.

I'm fine with that since you didn't answer emo haha <ok>

Don't listen to screamo stuff myself, bit heavy for me but whatever floats your boat :)

Although the first 30 odd seconds of your video made Tiote look like a rapist <laugh>

That really isn't heavy metal, it's a weird techno genre. I don't particularly like that song I just heard it and thought that it could fit a Tiote vid.

I've taken It down anyway, I thought the initial idea was good but I don't think I executed it very well.

I didn't listen to it all, I just heard AARARRRRGHRARGH and muted it.

Fair enough, better luck next time <ok>

Have you tried torrenting (naughty mind ha) any of the adobe vid software or out?

Harsh, uncalled for and rather dickish on your part. Take a look at yourself before coming out with such hate.
