i have had to do nights all weekend and set my clock radio to go off and wake me up prior to the game . What woke me up was the biggest load of biased bollocks i have had the misfortne to hear . First there was some clown saying that the league should allow skates to sell outside of the window and then that was followed by westwood making a complete idiot of himself , waffling on about support and how they only need a new ground and training complex. Only !!! What a plum . Solant should be ashamed of themselves buying into this nonsense . The facts are there 4 all to see ,skates are poorly supported club that think rules and tax is for others not them . There are better run non league sides that deserve their fl place . A spell in the conference is needed to concentrate the locals minds . Do you want a club , if so turn up and start to live within your means

If you "ain't going nowhere" then that means you are going somewhere. Double negative makes a positive.

Do you laugh in the same way when the administrator keeps saying you will have a takeover in 48 hours?

You may not be going anywhere. Your football club however......
Are HMRC going to be so charitable this time? Not paying the them the first time was bad enough but to just stick 2 fingers up at them and not pay again. Just can't see them letting it slide this time.

So, 1898's double negative does show promise in store, in a roundabout way.

    Thanks Matty!

He said "We ain't going anywhere" which is only a single negative..... Am I missing something but I don't see "nowhere" written.

We are not going anywhere = we are going everywhere, this might be the best way of putting it.

Better still. PL, CL, the moon?

We are not going anywhere means exactly what it is. It's a single negative meaning you're staying put... Matthew added "nowhere" which turned it into a double negative.

Maybe, I was hoping Detroit might get there, as that city has been waiting a long time!
I'm wishing for big things, from the Buc's next season.

Buc's tailed off quite severely if I am correct as they started the season well (I may be confusing them with another franchise). I'm pleased that the Packers got knocked out. I was quite hoping for a 49ers/Ravens bowl but their kickers let me down. I think the Superbowl next year is there for taking by the Eagles <laugh>

HMRC will take out everything on them and rightly so.

    Are Philly your faves then?

I remember one year TB played them, in Philly and Sly Stallone was up in the stands, shadow boxing.

When Tampa had won the game, Chucky (god, I miss him) asked the players "did you see Rocky up there? Well Apollo Creed just came to town and whooped his ass!"

Which resulted in a resounding cheer, from his team, as I'm sure you'll guess.
