Is that MH's way of telling us he knows what he's doing?

    He played better than Macheda.

In fairness to Spunky, he has to play 'No Pulse' (credit to thingummyjig for coming up with that one) in order to see for himself. The name probably rang a bell in his head, reminding him of a striker with the same monicker that scored the odd goal for Sheff Utd, Derby and Leeds. Possibly made the mistake of thinking it was the same chap.

IN the context of THIS game, Hulse did ok. He was almost an aerial threat and was not afraid to run at defenders. Of course, that is no guarantee of what might happen next time he plays.

No, not really. I certainly did enjoy seeing something a little different out there. I wasn't sure many of you would as most of you had slated Hulse all this time.

That is exactly what I was thinking. It's interesting that we actually have these odd choices in attack, is that why we never really went after strikers in this transfer window?

I bet you all enjoyed seeing Torres out there. Is that AVB's way of telling the world he thinks he knows what Abramovich is doing?

Macheada made the Pelican look quick. as he was stationary most the time. And i for one thought Hulse had an ok-ish game, won a couple of headers, and looked hungry. Maybe he'll be a late developer for us?

I thought Hulse looked good yesterday. So much has changed since he last featured for us. I think we should give him a chance! Imagine if Helguson was never given a chance?
