All my life as a Sunderland fan growing up in Teesside all ive had is abuse, and i hate to say it my fair share of envy(UEFA Cup final etc.etc).
For the first time in my life ive had the bragging rights and when this fixture came out i was over the moon, cause of our superior team!
Why do Sunderland always let us down??? Sorry abit tipsy and pissed off! Ive lost over 20quid betting against smoggy mates. I gave them the draw cause i was that confident!!

If you've spent all your life as a Sunderland fan you'll be used to this mate.

At the end of the day we drew a cup game at home to Boro, for which we have earned a replay. Hardly embarrassing kidda.

When we beat them down there it will taste all the sweeter man.

Whilst I sympathize with you tonight, Teesside, I'd say one of Life's great lessons is 'never bet on the FA Cup'. The list of brain-scrambling results is endless.

Try living with going to school and then work after Boro had signed Ravanelli and Juninho etc

Or Yeovil hang on that was us bugger.
Hold your head high teeside it was a hard game for both teams and if I'm honest a fair result for both teams. Hopefully we'll edge it in the replay to go into a nice easy game against Arsenal who, looked very good in their game yesterday well second half anyway.

I know its a cliche , but there are no easy games in the F.A. Cup. That's the attraction of it , David beating Goliath on a mud heap of a pitch.

The last time I enjoyed a cup upset was 5th May 1973 :)

Could have been worse Marra they could have beaten us, imagine how sweet it will be to beat them at the Riverside.

It's nothing to working in the Toon and having to put up with the abuse you get there. I worked there for 30 years and still hate the place even though I have been retired 15 years
