If only because of the tribunal (which I'm unsure has happened or not)

Nicky Wroe cost a minute fee in return for Robinson (cracking business) and before, cash splashed on Ainsworth.

Romaine Sawyer ...he doesn't exactly get the heart racing, but hes got to be better than Wildig and Wallace...hasn't he?

Wallace dropped us to play in a higher league. Wildig is still with us, although McAllister seems to be a good signing. Romaine Sawyer seems to be cover for attacking midfield and the strijers, but can't judge him until I see him play.

Fleetwood have turned down a £1,000,000 offer from Leicester for Jamie Vardy. Quite how they can afford to turn that kind of money down for a 25-year-old in the fifth tier of English Football is beyond me. To put that into perspective, it's more than Crawley accepted for Matt Tubbs - a player with an almost identical scoring record at that level but having proved himself at a higher level as well. Plus Crawley are loaded.

I'd sell any of our players if that kind of money was offered, and I reckon Collins could hit more goals in a season than Vardy at the same level if they were the same age.

£30 Million isn't that huge to turn down an offer of a million, especially for BSP league. If he is intent on getting beyond League 2 then fair enough keep your best players if you can but the gamble is that if you don't achieve successive promotions then players will leave naturally and you have lost the money.

I have a personal wealth of one million - a £33,333 offer for a nice antique I have is one I will happily accept in order to acquire more antiques.

A very quiet January compared to the last two seasons.
