We need a song for Sharp. For those of you old enough to recollect this classic, i propose we adapt the Theme from Shaft!! It could go a little something like this: Who is the man that will score some goals for us Saints’ fans? Sharp... can you dig it? Who's the new number eleven, that’ll take us up to premiership heaven? Sharp... damn right! We could even adopt afros in salute of our new man – would be hilarious! Thoughts and suggestions please?
billy has a ballbag he also has a boot. and when he scores for southampton we'll raise the fuc*ing roof oooohhhhh billy has a ballbag he also has a boot....
Why is that unoriginal? Where else is that sung? Yours is far more unoriginal! Joey by name, Joey by nature...!
Tell you what, you sing it and dress up like that on your own in the Northam and if you have the bottle to sing it.... I'll still think it's bloody terrible
I'm afraid I have to agree. Fair enough Lambertissier, for making the suggestion. But let's leave it at that, eh..? It would just be toe curlingly embarrassing.
As I, and ultimately most of our supporters are uncreative, I offer two potential songs: "Nanananananana! Billy Billy Sharp! Billy Sharp! Billy Billy Sharp!" - Tune: (Baby Give It Up) - His song by the Doncaster fans OR "Ole ole! Ole ole! Ole ole! Ole ole! Billy Sharp Sharp Sharp! Billy Sharp Sharp Sharp!" - Tune: Perhaps too similar to Guly's, but players having similar chants has never stopped us before!
Not really, though I'd rather have the ground silent than having to listen to people chant "you dont know what you're doing" "your support is ****ing ****" "the referees a ****er" etc. Hardly hear any proper songs these days.... Really makes me cringe
Very true. Our atmosphere is probably one of the worst in the division. We're 2nd in the league and showing that we're really going to push on over the next few months and all the fans at the ground want to do is shout derogatory things at the opposition/ref and sometimes even our own players.
