Yes, only bad thing is Spurs are also interested. Hoillet to me is like a spitting image of Aaron Lennon. Very quick, quite skillful, but he's a better finisher than Lennon.

Hoillet I reckon would get in our first side, he's even quicker than Obertan, and can beat player and is quite a consistent goal theat.

He's a canny crosser of the ball on ocassions. Not consistently creative, but can put a dangerous ball in, in the right position.

He;s the sort of player Pardew would want.

Only problem is who do we drop to play him? Jonas or Hatem?

Would only worry about that if one of them starting complaining down the line. Squad depth would be great to have.

Agreed, but neither Jonas or Hatem would be happy on the bench,

However if we get into Europe we need to be able to play a quality team without our first choice so Jonas, Hoillet and Hatem could rotate for different games.

Plus it could also help us have a decent ****ing cup run.

Not a chance if he's free competing against some of the top clubs. January was our only chance of getting him.

Hopefully he see's the Pinnear transfer to Spurs and thinks he'd do better at a club like us.

I think we're the highest club he could go to that would offer him frequent starts/first team football. He will be cover at everyone above us.

Sorry, didn't read the OP properly. On second look this may well be a serious thread!! <laugh>

For a NOMINAL FEE we could get him, I think it depends on 1) where we finish at the end of the season and 2) who the teams above us sign in the summer!!

I mentioned this on a thread yesterday. Us and Spurs were allegedly interested in him last year. Can't believe he never got a mention at all in the Jan transfer window. A massive step up from Oberhead.

Is this not the standard format of a dodgy double glazing advert?

So who are we buying to get Hoillet for free. That Rochina looks like a decent player.
