Taiwo cleared for QPR debut by George Akpayen 01 February 2012, 15:41 Nigeria international, Taye Taiwo could make his debut for Queens Park Rangers (QPR) on Wednesday against Aston Villa. QPR have finally secured an international clearance to allow the 26-year-old defender star in the English Barclays Premier League clash against Aston Villa at Villa Park. The former Lobi Stars have also been given a work permit to allow him play for QPR. Taiwo has been handed jersey number 34 at Loftus Road and is now officially a member of Mark Hughes' team till the end of this season. The Nigerian defender sealed a loan switch from Italian giants, AC Milan last month to end a difficult time at the San Siro. The ex-Olympique Marseille man had also been linked with another London club, Arsenal during the winter transfer window. The Super Eagles' defender could make his loan deal at Loftus Road permanent in the summer if he impresses Hughes.
TF Tweeted 'Welcome back Armond and Adel' but not sure if they are actually back today. More likely they will be available for saturday. Zamora should be eligable too for saturday.
I think their last game was sunday/monday so if they travelled back a day later, there should be no problem with them being in the squad although they might be on the bench which isnt a bad thing, Hughes will be letting the Africans know they will lose their place if the go to the ACN next time.
Does anoyone know if Taiwo's deal has a view to a permanent move here after his 6 month loan? I really hope it does because i know what the player is capable of and know that he will be a big hit here at Loftus Road.
