I'm going for 1-0 to the Toon as well but with Jonas scoring an unbelievable goal in an otherwise drab and uninspiring game.

I also reckon Shola will get another bashing, no matter what kind of game he has.

Already voiced my concerns over this game, and now Ba and Cisse aren't playing I really fear the worst. Live near the area now as well so I know a few Rovers' fans through work, and can only foresee them gloating at work tomorrow. Not looking forward to it at all.

He's like the opposite of Steve Gerrard. Gerrard gets 10/10 every game with a MOTM award no matter how he plays and Shola gets a -20/10 and gets rollicked lol (usually deserved)

Lol, Gerrard just needs to get changed and he is guaranteed at least 8/10 and a blowjob off Alan Smith (the commentator one)

Even in the Man United game all his flaws were on display.

Really, he was brilliant there. I bet Tash is on here if we lost tonight saying 'Anyone who thinks Shola had a better game than Best needs to look at themselves', or something along those.

Lol, Best is nearly as bad as Shola imo.

I know that is the strange thing, think I argued that point with someone a different thread last night.

Yeah, I think it's because Shola has been awful for years on end and Best came into a bit of form last season so people seem to like him.

Surely Pardew must pull Ameobi to one side and say 'Look Shola, this is probably your last chance to make me think otherwise about Ba and Cisse being my two first choice strikers. Go out there and do something...anything'.

Even if he does, them 2 are the main men lol. It's a lose, lose situation for our Sholes.

Aye but you wouldnt say that to Shola, always let them think they have a chance as you never know what will happen. Keeps morale high as well. I hope he drops Shola, even Obertan is less frustrating.
