Don't know how Guthrie gets such a high rating, he was awful and non existent.

Krul: 8 - Clean sheet and pen save.
Simpson: 6 - Good block on the line, out of position a few times. 7 if he didn't give a pen.
    Williamson: 5 - Piss poor
Coloccini: 8 - Solid as usual
Santon: 5.5 - Not bad but not great, better attacking then defending.
    Ben Arfa: 3 - Dreadful
Guthrie: 5 - Awful, invisible. Never helped the team get a hold of the game.
RTaylor: 5 - Poor, risked getting sent off with his reaction, albeit just.
Jonas: 6 - Decent game, worked hard as usual
    Best: 2 - Horrible
    Ameobi: 4 - Piss poor

EDIT: Forgot to add subs <laugh>

Perch: 7 - Helped a lot, we were still dominated but he did what HBA doesn't
Obertan: 7 - Did well with his goal.
Lovenkrands: 6 - Didn't do much, good pass though.

    For me.

Krul & Colo 8, Guthrie and Perch 7's. Nobody else was worth mentioning.

Didn't see the game but how come on match reports it always says x missed a penalty? If the keeper makes a save give him the credit. Does my head in that. Carew missed a penalty.

The whole team has been ****e as a unit recently. When we play well, Ben Arfa has impact.

He's had a couple of bad games, but to be honest, the last two games have been pants.

Hopefully we'll play well vs Villa and come out all guns blazing.

Never seen a team run the ball out of play so much. More or less every player had a poor touch.

Ameobi was awful as ever but cant expect any different. Pardews fault for playing him.

Best is totally wasted on Left wing, no idea why he doesnt play obertan and HBA on both wings if he plays Jonas as a CM.

HBA was terrible. Kinda a shame that Obertan scored as he will probably be ahead of HBA. So get used to no end product again!

We were missing 5 first team players today don't forget, if you include Cisse

Krul - 8 - Was magnificent and penalty save was incredible, there was one moment however where Simmo had to cover as he raced off his line.

Simpson - 7 - A couple of crucial blocks, was never a penalty, only really caught out once.
Williamson - 7 - Solid enough, needs to be careful on the turn.
Coloccini - 9 (MotM) - Absolutely superb. One mistake in the entire game and he made up for it with an exceptional tackle to win the ball back.
Santon - 7 - Wasn't in the game as much as he has been recently, decent though.

Ben Arfa - 5 - Couldn't really get into the game.
Guthrie - 7 - Typical Guthrie, just class.
R.Taylor - 7 - Worked hard, was brave enough to shoot and got rewarded.
Jonas - 6 - As with Santon, not particularly involved, but won some important free-kicks and released pressure.

Shola - 5 - Not his day, but was nowhere near as bad as I'm sure many are saying.
Best - 6 - Worked hard, didn't really have any service.

Perch - 9 - Absolutely brilliant. I love him. So committed, and is class at tackling.
Lovenkrands - 6 - Good pass for the goal, worked hard.
Obertan - 10 - You can't get much better than scoring and creating a chance in 5 minutes on the pitch when your team is under pressure. So happy for him!

Is funny how Ober was "useless" and now should be ahead of Benny because he scored a goal.. Some shallow people on here.

    Would still prefer Ben Arfa.
