Seeing as NufcBano has shuffled off his virtual coil I feel it’s my duty to carry on his train of thought.

The one thing that causes my bile to rise is his stubbornness and negativity ;)

How he didn’t change a losing side is so irritating and this will undoubtedly rub off on the players who will then think that it doesn’t matter how they perform; they’ll still get picked.

I’m a positive person so this obviously riles me.

Also, what was he doing subbing Ben Arfa? This will surely make him hand in his transfer request and reiterate his desire to move to a bigger club like Wigan. He’s the only player we can rely on to do anything and once he was taken off; you could see the players were confused because our talisman was missing on the field of action.

With a belief in the power of positivity you can see how this misaligns my chakras.

Santon should have been played in CM instead of Perch. He needs time in that position to improve or his confidence will be shot and he’ll want to move away as well.

As a person with a positive and winning disposition, this just irks me and raises my ire with the man who made us lose the cups.

    Viva la Banolution!

As you've lifted the title of your post from NufcBano's blog I'm assuming your both the same bloke. Funny that.

Only Bano would want Santon in CM.

I'd be happy if he just played his proper role..............RB

In fairness replacing Ben Arfa with Perch was stupid. Granted it gave us better midfield control but he could have achieved the same effect by taking off shola for Perch and pushing Ben arfa up to support striker role. Then we could have had better midfield control with a greater offensive threat.

Replacing HBA with Perch was good, it helped us more then HBA did.

Never thought I would say that, but it was clear to see last night.

Not saying it didnt help but I still feel putting HBA in an actual striking position and putting Perch on instead of Shola would have been more effective. The reason B,burn were controlling the middle of the park was because they were pouring forward as they had no reason to fear Shola on the break. HBA hitting them on the break would have been a different prospect.

Such was their comfort at coming forward the extent of their pressing was lethally exposed when we brought a player with pace (Obertan) on who could actually hit them on a quick counter.

HBA did nothing to suggest he would be a threat at all this game.

Could of worked the exact opposite mind, HBA might of gotten less touches of the ball and been even worse than the first half.

Think we should all just be happy we stole the points mind. <laugh> A game I would like to forget.

I don't see the problem with Perch, he's been good recently. As long as you don't rely on him to win headers he's a good player.

As long as he is no where near defence, I'm happy.

Nah, I think we personally need a bigger defender to win headers and be a rock, and a player that's good on the ground and quite quick.

Which is why I think, next season, Willo should cover Saylor, and Perch should cover Colo.

Perch and Colo together are good on the ground but **** in the air. Saylor and Willo together, strong in the air, but they don't compliment each other at all.

Perch is good with a big CB next to him. We only conceded 1 goal vs Chelsea when Perch and Saylor were together.

Perch is not good at all I think, Perch's fault Drogba scored in that game.

Get a one or two defenders in, and make sure Perch is just DM/MC I hope.

One thing that annoys me about Pardew is that he never has a hair out of place, and another thing is that his top lip doesn't move when he speaks and another thing is he looks like a tailors dummy!

    Just saying.

Well let's just hope it was like a Shola farewell, with the two Dembas back. He shouldn't get near the first team. :D
