Onouha did look good....but he lost Bent for the first goal which came at a terrible time for us, just before the break! Hope Taiwo gets better!! Barton did work hard...but **** me, his passing is awful!!

got to be cisse really. Although he fizzled out towards the end, he scored on is debut and looked threatening when he was on the ball.

Thought that may get a reaction mate.
I'm not saying that no-one played well, I just couldn't pick one person as the M.O.T.M. Onouha was probably the best on the night, but was at fault for Bent's goal. Cisse scored a great goal and looked very good before tiring. It's between these two for me, but I can't split them.

I was thinking Derry for his brilliant save, paddy would have been proud, then smith for his goal line clearence, Onuoha for putting his head in where it hurts to stop N'Zogbia's goal bound shot.

Apart from a 20 minute spell we didn't really do any attacking, we just defended desperately.

Given a few days to get to know each other the back 4 will become very solid and could eventually be viewed in the same way as Clement, McLintock, Webb, Gillard. With Adel & Armand back the Midfield will improve (can't get any worse) and we will score goals with Lord Cisse & BZ.

Sorry bit of a ramble, Onuoha gets my vote as overall a very steady debut.

In future how long do you think these polls should last before motm is finalised. 24 hours?

Yes, 24 hours more than enough.

Taking this one off sticky now following requests, presumably from phone users.
