Optimism is hanging on by a thread. If we win this game we could be out of the relegation zone.

    All it would need is:
    1. Chesterfield to lose away to Carlisle on Saturday
    2. Rochdale to lose away to Charlton on Saturday

    3. Walsall to lose tonight and away to S****horpe on Saturday, or Walsall to win against S****horpe
    on Saturday.

Interesting odds for first goalscorer from Bet365.
    Rendell 6/1 fav
    Strevens 7/1
    Ibe and Beavon at 15/2
    Harris 20/1

I wonder what price they offer for Harrold.

Fav score is 1-1 (best price 6/1, generally 11/2)

Wycombe are a best price 2/1 on for relegation whilst Tranmere are best price 7/1.

What are the odds of the Tranmere game being called off due to Wycombe having no players at bet365?

That's bloody hilarious Ron, although Harris is 20-1 it's not quite far enough out for me to have a punt yet ha ha.

In all seriousness, this is a must-win game (yet again!)

See we've signed a Watford young one on loan, ST/AM, could be what we need - along with about 5 more players.

I feel gloomy about it to be honest.

Rendell has gone to Oxford in loan deal.

"Wycombe Wanderers have signed striker Matty Whichelow on a one-month youth loan deal from Watford."

    "
He impressed Wycombe boss Gary Waddock by scoring a hat-trick against the Chairboys in a practice game last week."

    Hi Monarch,

You should expect him to be on the treatment table for a long time, he seemed to get injured alot, however when fit showed he had some class about him, very calm on the ball.

MBUWWFC, I think Calzy has the foresight to show that we often don't have a midfield!! To be perfectly honestly we usually don't have a defence either!! Monarch, Mike just asked a similar question on another post. Think he will probably get the odd muscle strain early on as he is still on the comeback after being out for a year or so but I think once he gets through that he will be quality player for you. Good experience and organisation in midfield and did used to be useful from set pieces.

I think Calzy is just pointing out that we don't have a midfield. Not sure we'll notice the difference.

I see. The plan is for Bully to keep saving the shots and kicking long balls up to our 10 strikers.

The form guide suggests that we shoud actually, say this quietly.............WIN on Saturday. We have 9 points from the last 15 at home and Tranmere have 0 points out of 15 away from home. FINGERS AND TOES CROSSED!!
