    Couple of people suggesting Barton on the wing, bad move no speed doesn't get down the channels, despite what he says he is, he is really a defensive Central Midfielder any where else not good for him.

    For me Adel is still the nut I can't crack, only place i'm comfortable with him playing is just off a striker 4-4-2 or one of the 3 in 4-2-3-1 formation. Pondered a long time on this because I'd like to put him the team just can't seem to fit him in. MH will probably play 4-4-2 so guessing he'll be a super sub fitting where needed this weekend.

    so many of you include Taiwo.. that was probably the worst debut that I have ever seen. I would bring in Clint Hill at LB a real defender. Taiwo had no idea and let anyone on the right side do whatever he wanted. he was partly to blame for the first goal. maybe play him in left midfield. really disappointed... hopefully will improve.

    Taiwo has hardly played this season and was clearly not up with the pace of the game. We're fortunate to have Hill and Traore available so MH will make his own judgement based on what he sees in training. I'm sure once he beds in he'll be an asset. I think it'll be:

    Kenny;

    Young, Ferdinand, Onuoha, Taiwo;

    SWP, Barton, Derry, Taarabt;

    Cisse, Zamora.

    Beginning to think the conundrum with Adel is because Barton is in the side. Adel can play in CM if we have a holding/defensive midfielder whose job is just to clean up the scraps. Derry last season and probably Diakite now. Maybe drop Barton and play Adel and Diakite in the middle when he's back?

    The fact that no one can agree shows we have plenty of good options now - unlike before.

    I am certain that MH will keep to his 4-4-2 so I am not sure where this leaves Taarabt really. Also when Diakite comes back what about Buzsaky? We will miss his set piece ability massively, as we did against Villa.

    Young was very poor in that game and has cost us a number of goals this season. His lack of pace is a massive weak point in our defence.

    My team when everyone is fit, and keeping to MH's 4-4-2 would be;

    ------------------------KENNY----------------------

    ONUOHA----FERDINAND----GABBIDON---TAIWO

    TAARABT----BARTON---DIAKITE/BUZZ---TRAORE

    ---------------CISSE--------ZAMORA---------------

    SUBS: CERNY, YOUNG, HILL, SWP, DIAKITE/BUZZ, HELGUSON, SMITH

    Although even looking at that I keep disagreeing with myself! Hard to put a team out with all the options we have!

    seeing as we beat wolves away with this team :
    01 Kenny
    06 Gabbidon (Hall - 83' )
    13 Traore
    18 Young
    35 Ferdinand Booked
    04 Derry
    07 Taarabt (Smith - 75' )
    11 Faurlin Booked
    17 Barton
    32 Wright-Phillips
    10 Bothroyd Booked (Campbell - 73' )

    i am quite certain that either of the two line ups above would suffice. needless to say cisse definately needs some better balls to put him in than he got a few days ago. the team looks better in most areas,but i just hope its for the full 90 minutes rather than three quarters of the 1st half.

    Juts as a fan of another club looking at your situation i was mystified by warnock's departure. But to then go and replace him with mark hughes and then go and sign onouha taiwo zamora and cisse i honestly can't see you getting relegated and wouldn't be surprised if you m=finish mid table. You have brought in real quality players and the zamora cisse strike-force looks extremely threatening, they have a combination of everything, pace power, good in the air can hold the ball up, run in behind and finish and cisse in particular is one of my favourite players, had he not had his injury worries i think that he would probably still be at liverpool. He is just brilliant and can finish from every angle and with him phenomenal pace and power he will give any defence in the premier league problems. And taiwo and onouha both very good players who will greatly improve your team and you now have a starting 11 that should be able to stay up with ease imo.
