Would that be Pompey players and staff have been told they will not be receiving their January wages tomorrow.

The club tonight informed them the Blues have yet to receive a required validation order from the courts.

That means the club’s bank account remains frozen as a result of the winding-up order issued last month

As a result, players and staff salaries initially due last Tuesday have still to be paid.

That has sparked fears it may hamper Pompey’s ability to stage Saturday’s home match against Hull.

Read that the Hull game may go ahead but may be last game at FP. The match needs policing but that has to be paid for...reckon the police will do it for free on grounds of public order.

If the Club hasn't paid the police from the last home game, there will be no game. It's the Ipswich game that might be at risk.

I'm sure the same stories were written about us those years ago. Pompey will make it to the end of the season, then this will be sorted one way or the other.

As we were in administration and not subject to a winding up order, we could accept gifts which enabled players wages to be paid by the administrator. Pompeys bank account is frozen which is causing all sorts of problems.

I feel sorry for the genuine fans that visit away games and that attend Fratton Park every day of the week.
For the other 12,000 fans that only attend, when needed, for abusing opposition for Saints game or when they are close to being liquidated I could not give a stuff about.

Pompey is a business in the end and if a business is trading insolently then it is normally out out of business straight away.

The judge in the last court appearance said that was the case and was lenient in Pompey's favour.

The fact is that little over 22 months later the same scenario has popped up again.
Why Cameron backs calls for HMRC and Pompey to meet up is ludicrous. I see how Leeds, Luton, Bournemouth, Saints, Darlington, Chester etc all got the same treatment...Not.

Pompey's crimes have been far and greater and at a big expense to everyone so it is ridiculous now.

No one likes to see fans lose their club. But Pompey is now in shambles and I would be extremely embarrassed and uneasy after all this.

HMRC lost once and I don't think they'll lose this time.

Pompey CHOSE not to pay tax and pay wages instead.

Pompey CHOSE to break about 10 different rules and still get away with little punishment so far.

And now there is talk that Pompey may not be able to fulfill their fixture list later this month which theoretically results in further deduction, which as we know now, Pompey WILL get away with.

I feel sorry to all the genuine fans as I say but the evidence is just overwhelming.

And to all the Pompey 'fans' AKA teenage yobs there to stir sh** up, I have this to say: F*** you!

Be careful, Pompeymeowth will try to ban you for not being sympathetic enough.

unfortunately the majority of PFC fans have shown their true colours in recent years, an awful hooligan record and behaviour that shows why we have had to adapt from the 1970's.

I have sympathy for good family friendly clubs who respect their opposition... I mean look at Saints fans on here, after all the things Pompey have done (IE, celebrating Markus Liebherrs death, calling for us to go to the wall and laughing about it, violently assaulting saints fans and throwing rocks at families who go to support Saints against them, pissing on seats), our fans still show sympathy and wish the best for them and actually feel sorry for them.

That shows just how better we are as human beings, we are the tolerant, modern face of football and Portsmouth represents everything thats wrong with football (hooliganism, fraud, poor stadia, a cheating mentality, lower division mentality), and removing this problem from english football will do nothing but benefit the game.

It's time the HMRC wiped out Portsmouth for the betterment of our future game.

    I'm torn between it.

Some of my family support Pompey, cousins, grand parents support Pompey and I know that hey have been keen supporters that go to every game.

But there comes a time where FIFA, FA, FA have to take a stand.

It's wrong that smaller clubs don't get the same treatment.

This is what also winds mr up a little.

You say spirit. But you've had a half full stadium for the last three years... <doh>

I feel sorry for the real fans but the fact is that a lot of you seem to only come out when its looking bleak...

Because everyones had enough of Portsmouth now... we just want you to take responsibility for your mistakes and pay for your crimes, is that too unfair/unjust to ask?

Of course I feel for the 'genuine' fans but this has gone on long enough. Hope the cup win was worth it.

I really do feel for the genuine fans however, there comes a time when right and wrong need to be sorted out considerably, and stands have to be taken by governing bodies.

It can't be a case for one club and not for another.

I still think that Pompey will get away with this and survive.

I'm all for them surviving but I think sanctions should be taken as this has been a truly shocking chapter in Pompey's history!

in footballs history. The regulation of the game is a joke. Clubs owned by mythical people, hedge funds, leveraged debt, arms dealers, convicted fraudsters the list goes on and on and on.

The FA have the power they need to clean up the game and not allow clubs to be part of their association (no "golden ticket" no ability to play professional football in England) but they do diddly squat. Turn a blind eye and even punish some clubs heavily and do nothing to other clubs who have broken the law.

Nothing will change. Pompey and other clubs will get away with it.

At times Appleton looks a little bit like Voldemort, and I've seen a lot of dark clouds over Portsmouth recently. And didn't they have a manager called Harry? They certainly need a magic spell over at the deathly Frattons.
