St Andrews does I think. Sky won't want it postponed, so it's likely that it will go ahead. When St Mary's was built, Lowe didn't install undersoil heating to save money as he didn't think we'd need to use it much. He did install the pipework though so someone willing to spend the cash could fairly straightforwardly finish the job in the event of cold winters or reverse global warming. Cortese did do some improvements to the pitch. I don't know if heating was one of them.
and also the dearly departed Mr Chaiman (**** for brains) Lowe was full of hot air, so he could be used in emergencies
Presumably Ridgewell played in a lot of those games though. And they have only played 13 games at home (compared to our 15)
Davis Frazier Fonte Martin Fox Falque Hammond Cork Lallana Lambert Sharp Subs: Bart, Harding, Morgan, De Ridder/Puncheon, Lee I'm going for a 2-2 draw with Lambert and Lallana to score the goals.
really looking forward to watching the game. I think now we have too much firepower with rickie and sharp upfront, they may score but we will outscore them. I would not swap rickie and sharp (or connoly for that matter) for king and beanpole
I agree that Morgan is a far better player but i feel that this will be a game more suited to Hammond plus Morgan did play in midweek so i might need a rest
What's to say he hasn't picked up an injury in training? Davis Richardson - Fonte - Martin - Fox Puncheon - Corky - Schneiderlin - Lallana Lambert - Sharp Bench: Bart, Harding/Hammond, Chaplow, Falque, Lee. Betting Tip - Billy Sharp 1st Goalscorer and a 3-0 away win at 125/1
Although I agree that Cork-Morgan is our best CM (and certainly has the best long-term prospects), I think Hammond will start due a the combination of us being away and him not starting against Cardiff in mid-week. Adkins likes to rotate those midfielders, presumably to keep them fresh, and rightly so.
I see the West Ham match is the early one today and we are, of course the late one...I much prefer when such games are opposite each other and you can see the ebb and flow of the games at the same time. Also the chance of us being postponed or the game stopped is greater because it's an evening match. I know tv puts a lot of money into the game but it's still a shame.
I mean on Weds/Thurs/Fri. We know he had a hamstring strain a week or so ago... It may of come back in the last few days. I do feel really sorry for Steve though. He'd just managed to get a run in the team and was playing well, then goes and gets injured, Puncheon, Sharp and Falque come in and suddenly he's not in the frame anymore. Harsh on the lad..
