YOU have to say QPR played a blinder in the transfer window.

I had them as my favourites to go down this season, having watched them over the last few weeks.

But for my money Bobby Zamora (right) will keep them up on his own. He’s a great signing for them.

He holds the ball up, brings people into play, scores goals.

There is no other Englishman out there like him.

I think it was a good deal all round as well, because Fulham got £4m for him, which is good money for a 31-year-old.

He’s got no sell-on value for QPR, but if he keeps them up he will be worth £30m to them, won't he?

There are no losers in that deal, but I'd rather be QPR, because he is someone you can rely on.

They had to sign players and they have brought in six, so they did the business. I think Djibril Cisse is a great signing as well.

It means people like Joey Barton will get on the ball more and i think Cisse's partnership with Zamora could be special.

    Ya OK......

but I have a soft-spot for HH, in all the muck of this season he's managed to bag 9 goals total and that's amazing, considering how weak we have looked. I would wish that HH play first and then Zamora come on or vice-versa but we have to give them both equal playing time otherwise both will turn into lard.

No room for sentiment, sadly. Only goal is premier league survival and all other factors (within bounds of ethics, legality etc) can be sacrificed for that goal.

Sorry Yappy but you don't pay that sort of money for Zamora so he gets splinters in his arse. HH will be a squad player from here on, his age was always against him but he'll be a handy player to have on the bench...

Iceman is and i always thought he was a good squad player to have and a great choice for a last 15-20 min substitute. A targetman for cornerkicks and freekicks because his marvellous headingpower. Iceman is playing very good season ,maybe the best of his career. He ain't ,however the answer for Main striker in a starting lineup. Zamora and Cisse are proven strikers in this league and they are more faster ,more stronger and more skillful than Iceman. Heading power is the only thing where HH can beat them. Therefore let's enjoy Cisse and Zamora and hope if iceman can pop one or two in on late minutes.......

HH has been fantastic this season and I think he's a really good player. Unfortunately, his age is catching up with him which has been evident lately with him struggling to keep fit. He'll be a very good man to have on the bench imo too, coming on to try to salvage a goal from somewhere. Zamora and Cisse have to start for me, unless we play one up front on occasions and then it would be Cisse for me.

HH has had his reward for his good work, with the contract he signed before Warnock left, as said above HH will be a good impact sub for last 15-20mins of a game if required!

... and i'm quite sure he'll come in from bench in a few games to head the ball in couple times still this season, after he's injury free.

Zamora, Cisse, DJ and HH would be my 4 strikers (assuming DJ and HH stayed fit)

If Cisse or Zamora get a knock, it's great to know we have HH to come on...at last we are seeing strength in depth
