    Afternoon Spurs Fans.

I'll be coming to the Spurs v Toon match on Saturday - my first trip to the lane.

How easy is it to get to from Euston? Any tips? The tfl journey planner is ****e and doesn't take into account that it's busier on matchdays etc.

If Bale and Modric get crocked this weekend I'd be grateful <cheers>

If you are asking for directions it's not very polite suggesting that Bale and Modric get crocked but i'll help you anyway.

Avoid public transport on a match day, it's better to walk. Turn left when you come out of Euston and walk along Euston Road. Pass St Pancras and Kings Cross and continue up Pentonville Road. At the top of the hill turn left into Islinton High Street and walk for about 200 m where you will see Liverpool Road on your left. Take Liverpool Road. After a short stroll up Liverpool Road you will come to the junction will Holloway Road, turn left. You will soon pass the Emirates Stadium on your right, ignore it and carry on. When you reach the Seven Sisters Road turn right. Continue your brief promenade up the Seven Sisters (you will pass Finsbury Park on your left) until you reach Tottenham. Bear left onto the High Road where you will pass the Seven Sisters Tube Station (what ever you do don't try and use this station, it will be packed full with Spurs fans- very unsafe for away fans). Stroll up the High Road, you will pass Bruce Grove railway station on you left (definitely don't try and use Bruce Grove, it's like the Seven Sisters Tube but far worse) and continue northwards. until you reach Park Lane.....Thats where the away supporters entrance is. If you need a beer just nip back down to Finsbury, its only a short stroll, as away fans are unlikely to be served in Tottenham. Returning to Euston is the same in reverse. Simples...... Alternatively grab a mini cab, get 4 people sharing and it should cost you about £25 a head providing you tell them that you are from Newcastle.

I can't see that happen unless they fall over in the snow as they're not actually playing until Monday evening.

Nah, take the Victoria Line, much quicker. Just a 10 minute tube journey then a 10 minute walk.

Arrive at Euston - ask anyone you meet there where the best team in London plays, follow their directions and end up at White Hart Lane...

YV, if he takes the Victoria line he will 'miss the sites'. The walk will do him good and on the way he might remember not to hope that two of our players get crocked.

Hey is Seven Sisters tube station really that bad? I don't plan on showing off me colours whilst I travel.

Well I'm not saying it's that bad but if you've got seven sisters don't bring them with you.

It's so bad, I tend to take the suburban line from Liverpool Street to WHL for the sake of my sanity.

I usually do the same as HBIC as I get my prematch drinks in at Hamilton Hall just outside Liverpool St station.

The Victoria line can be a bit of a nightmare in terms of delays but as long as you're early and have a couple of cans on you it won't be a total loss if it goes tits up. I wouldn't worry about wearing your colours on the way there, we're a friendly bunch and you'll get a good bit of banter and football chat. After the game it's better to stay covered up, just to be on the safeside as both sets of fans will be boozed up and one side angry will be angry too, that goes for any away game though really.

I saw Mike Ashley drinking at Hamilton Hall once.
    It wasn't a brown ale, either... <whistle>

It was a Friday too, so it wasn't directly before a game.
Think the Geordies were playing someone in London the next day, though.
