As I said on another thread, Tarbs and Bobby up front is pretty appealing.

Norway voted for Barton, thats just as bad! The only one who was worse was SWP who was abysmal as usual.

I 1st thought that was going to be aimed at me after reading the 1st 6 words! He needs to get off twitter and learn how to connect with more than 50% of his passes.

In the NFL they are allowed to cancel contracts if the player doesnt live up to the money they get (it also helps keep wages under control), if we could get rid of 1 player in the summer it would be a toss up between SWP and Barton, both a massive waste of money.

Adel by a long way. But Barton was no 2 - he was all over the park, his coolness at the back stopped it from being !-4, and he was the source of much of our attack. SWP made our goal, and though there was a lot of running into blind alleys he caused Wolves problems.

Oslo, do you seriously think Barton was our second best player yesterday? Poor first touches, a multitude of uncompleted passes and running in circles most of the time?
You said it yourself, "he was all over the pitch". He plays midfield supposedly. Average player but we've no other choice ATM.
