I bet my mate £20 Newcastle would finish above his beloved villa...

I made the bet before the season started but after the Ba ,Cabaye and Marveux signings.

Initially i said £10 just friendly banter he gladly accepted so i said £20 and he scoffed and accepted gleefully.

This shows a few things, Newcastle are/were seen to be much worse than we are, villa fans are just as deluded as anyone else if not more and my mate, while being a top bloke is also an idiot haha.

I hope we beat them tommorow i really fancy that £20, im not saying we will finish above villa, anything can happen but he will certainly think twice about betting against me in future.

Hopefully the two dembas start with best on the bench and no shola.

 

I aint bet anyone but would love to beat those idiots .. the way their fans acted when we went down at villa park was disgusting

Sunderland have good players and will finish top 8 this year, just it took O'Neill to get the best out of you guys.

 

Why do people rate Villa so highly?
I had a bet with a guy a few years ago who thought Villa would finish top 4.
Needless to say he was buying my drinks one night in May.
