Tja. wasn't all bad from us, but it wasn't good enough either! Something is badly wrong defensively in midfield, yet I don't really think its right to blame Derrry or Barton, who other than Adel was our MOM today for me. All 11 need to defend when we lose the ball - i feel this is where we aren't performing as we should be. And Young is well out of form defensively.

4-4-2 doesn't work with this team. We need to play 4-3-1-2 and push up. The back 4 can hold the line, but the rest of them need to be mixing upfield. Best defense is a great offense, and the team needs to learn to understand that it's OK to pass it for hours on end without giving up the ball. And then plop one in there!

True enough. But £50m flop Torres isn't "plopping" them in for you.

James the one..I think you're right. Maybe would have been better for TF to back the manager instead of Barton, Bothroyd etc who were just looking for excuses for their own mediocrity. Unfortunately can't see Warnock being recalled- and at the same time getting rid of the rotten apples - much as I would like it. Anyway if we lose the next few games you won't have to wait until the end of the season to see us relegated.

You might be getting a tweet from Scott Jones then.... @ScottJonesy

'What cheese do you like?' - Seems he's making a book by asking the good and great a cheesy question.

Sounds banal, but the thing is, these stocking filler books sell like hot cakes! A great money spinner.

I promised myself not to yet here I am
The sickening draw of n606 and a belly full of defeat
We seem to all be infected
But points have to be made at times like these why? ... because we can

Football at QPR 90 minutes of a totally unpredictable drug makes the addiction more addictive
Waking up on LSD and thinking your penis has become a wheat crunchy is bad enough but when your girlfriend sees it as a wotsit ... Differences apart from them both being snacky ...

We see things differently at the time

I saw on MOTD that SWP's lay off was outstanding yet being there I thought it was a mistake
I also thought he was poor all game yet in slow mo he was defended very well and sent down corridors ... My point is things arent what they look like at the game against the technology of home devices

At the match yesterday it was clear to see that the Mark Three Cortina although not as pretty as the other models it has no worries it's progression and the Seirra is on the way

Many of you forget we were a short time ago a Ford Pubic which for those who didn't know was based on the old Corsair

We will be fine and I trust my mate at the game as he played at the highest level and he reckons we look strong enough to take points from any team in this division
AKA Blackburn at Old Trafford . Yesterday's match saw Wolves go for it and it worked credit to MM
But as my Wolves mate said we then outplayed them as we did to start with he is coming again just to watch Taarabt in fact
Let's get into the middle league and then why not win it?
8th is the target in my house and my penis has suddenly grown into a large cheese straw

    Grow a pair lads

Good day Uber, I'm back and feeling better now.

This is spot on, this s*** went through my head over and over again last night.

My post yesterday refered only to what I had boxed in and the Wolves game. I appologice once again for not argumenting my slating off.

This is a worry, couldn't agree more! Especially the home games against MK and Wigan. To be fair to Mark re your headline, it was NW that was in charge against MK away ;)

There were three game changing incidents against Wolves yesterday. Up until the first and second of them occured this game only had one winner and everyone was just waiting for our second goal and the start of a rout. (This was what my post related to yesterday, up until then we dominated every statistic)

    1. The injury to Frimpong.
Wolves and MM came with a very defensive 4-5-1 lineup, and was trailing 1-0 and not even threatened once up until the point when Frimpong injured himself when challenging Barton in the 24th minute. Being 1-0 down at this moment in time MM decided to put on Ebanks-Blake instead of an like-for-like midfielder and changing to a more attacking 4-4-2. The game instantly changed, Wolves got a foothold for the first time in the game, with two up front unabling us to dominate possesion and play the ball out from defence. The first bit of belief started to grow within the Wolves team.

    2. Cisse's sending off.
At first I was furious with Clattenburg. But after thinking it through my blame started to shift towards Cisse. In my mind this is not a red card, but the problem is Cisse's actions gave Clattenburg an oppurtunity. By the letter of the law, when you raise your arms towards an opponent you can be sent off. Had Clattenburg used some common sense though, he might, as so many other refs, have settled for a yellow card. Roger Johnson was not getting anywhere near Cisse all game, he decided to make a totally unnecessary challenge with no chance of winning the ball, he wanted to rattle Cisse. And he got more than he bargained for with Cisse's stupid mistake. Now Wolves belief really started to grow, and they ended the half with plenty of encouragement.

    3. Early goal in the second half.
I was eagerly anticipating what Mark Hughes had in stall for the second half. But his plans with ten men went out the window within two minutes. Barton gave the ball away and Young showed, like against Newcastle away, that he struggles one against one inside the box. From being a game with only one winner, this was now a game with another winner unfortunately. And Wolves were allowed to run it their way until they got the lead.

Then something positive happened. Adel decided to take matter in his own hands, and what a final 15 minutes he put on for us. Probably the most excited I've been this season, watching Adel express himself. He put himself about all game, he's not very good at it still, but now he's at least pulling his weight (pardon the pun) and putting in an effort defensively. Not sure we would see this side from him if it wasn't for Mark Hughes and the improved playing staff now on show. But why couldn't we've been more positive on 1-1?

I've decided to look at this in a positive frame of mind. There were two major plusses yesterday. Up until the red card we looked very dangerous and solid, and Adel's excellent finish and overall improved performance.

Seriously? Things are dodgy...but we have a good chance, surely?
I think MH did well with his tactics yesterday. He got Adel into the right areas and replacing Derry with Traore was a good positive move too. To be fair to Macarthy, he put Doyle on for the 2nd half and played with 3 forwards, which was always going to cause our 10 men problems!

I believe that we're in total agreement, Norway. And thank you for your detailed response.

Whilst there's no argument from me that the Rs looked comfortable up until Cisse's early bath, my original piece was prompted from the fact that despite a change in manager, we remain prone to the same old habits of blowing it. It is an indisputable fact that in order to escape the relegation trap door, the Rs have to pick up points, and particularly from games against their rivals down in the mire.

We were looking good value for 3 points. In fact, we looked good value to win by a good margin. Goal difference may yet prove to be a key determinant of who stays and who goes.

    And we blew it.

I am happy to acknowledge all the positives that have been listed on the various post-match threads. But none of them really matter if we don't get the points as well.

But...without the red card I think we would have won comfortably mate and that's a major point. We looked good up to that point.

    But it was only Wolves.

Bang on this ... this forum needs a sick bag thread after each match so that the fickle can be sick in it. it hurts to lose but embrace it and life will look better trust me. Buy him sell him he is rubbish is now history we are what we are ... deal with it Wolves won it yesterday because they rolled the dice
WE ARE NOT DOOMED UNTIL WE ARE DOOMED So why not relax, read the negative posts back at the end of the season and then post one of two things:

    1. I told you we were doomed after the Wolves game

    2. I am sorry I thought we would never get out of this and were doomed after the Wolves Game

Will you still be QPR after these? of course you will

I respect your comments Dave, but what then do you suggest we use this forum for? If we can't use it as an outlet for our frustrations, pessismisms, cynicisms, criticisms and sometimes downright anger, then what is it for?

Perhaps this is why some have left, because they don't like the content? But, hey! It's a free society.

i respect anyone who is QPR and respect the thread Get it Sorted Mark! but its important to monitor and check on our emotions ... hence my suggestion of a sick bag.

if everyone was forced to educate themselves by watching Ghostbusters then it would become clear that all the frustrations, pessismisms, cynicisms, criticisms and sometimes downright anger builds up to a point that it pops. We have come a long way at QPR, a journey in fact and yes the question of what is this forums for? is a very good one ... I have no idea but someone has to notice that at times we are all swimming in ****.

We use this forum to predict scores and team formations and vent of course as well as word threads each to their own and I have to diet on N606 as its not as happy as it was IMO. A QPR fan IMO gets behind the team and sings come what may. Its all becoming bi polar.

We are in a fight and there has never been a better time to get behind the team whatever the results of each match. No pop at anyone here this is just my general opinion. I am currently in a take it or leave it mode re N606 as some have said its just a forum come and go as you please.

I thought this is an excellent thread and the reason we are here
