I really miss that side to the game Cooper, a good solid fair challenge is a thing of beauty.
It's a shame it's been been eradicated from the game.

it might be the law but it dont make it right
it is the same mentality as these parasites that give you a parking ticket when your wheel is six inches outside the white line
we need a bloody revolution in this country to stop these petty beauracrats destroying our passion and grinding our hopes into the dust for the sake of their mind numbing bourgeois regulations
i just watched match of the day and i see Johnson cynically diving to get a penalty and djembele and corluka putting their heads into each others faces like rams and only getting a yellow whilst barton got a red
we need to stay up if only to become the bete noir of the game cos i think with the whole Warnock/Barton/Faurlin stuff those dirty crooks at the FA would love to see us out of the picture

How many games this season have been ruined by red cards? We are being fleeced paying extortionate prices and these primadonnas with whistles are becoming the 'stars' of the show. Roll up and see Mark Clattenberg flourish his red and yellows, thrill to the sight of Chris Foy decimating defences or Andre Marriner marinating the managers with their pea-brained decisions. We deserve better but we always come back for more...

Huth gets sent off for a player following through and hitting his knee, (no studs were shown) if thats a red, Wolves should have ended up with 7 men today!

how cam you blame the refs. all teams do it. the coaches tell the players to dive

how can you blame the ref when the players cheat.

they should send players off for diving cos i cant stand it.

ialso think they bottle decsions aganst the big teams

That's the same twat Mike Dean who was conned by Sturridge last week. He needs to be dealt with as he is consistently poor.

Having watched the Scotland England match when I got home there was a moment when Robshaw and Cusiter grabbed each other by the shirts, face to face, handbags pretty much and a lot more than anything Cisse did. The situation was quickly diffused and the match moved on. No problems.

Meanwhile at Loftus Road the situation diffuses before a red is shown and drama ensues.

Drama out of nothing and something has to change.

How does that old saying go? Rugby is a game of thuggery, played by gentlemen. But football is a game for gentlemen, played by thugs.

The problem is that football is generally played by individuals of lesser intellect than their rugby counterparts. There isn't anywhere like the sort of money in rugby that you have in football. A young man interested in playing club rugby will generally have another profession, certainly in the early stages of his career, and play rugby as well simply because he enjoys it. Whereas a young man with some footballing talent is doused with untold riches - in comparison with the ordinary man on the Clapham Omnibus - almost immediately. He doesn't therefore have to have intellect or basic social skills. He thinks he's the Mutt's Nuts because he's told he's the Canine's Kahunas by the sycophants around him.

Is it any wonder that the so many of them only know how to cheat, whinge and overreact their way through a game?

Rugby players tend to come from more affluent backgrounds and many have been coached at public schools before being taken on by clubs, whereas footballers often are from poorer backgrounds, regularly have been thick as two planks and had little proper schooling before being whisked off into the land of Ferraris and Bentleys. They see the Primadonna behaviour of their heroes and follow suit...

I couldn't give two ****s about rugby. Great game to play but horrendous to watch and its sole purpose seems to be to fill pubs with a load of twats demanding the rugby be shown over the football.

You can't blame the ref for yesterday. He's constrained by FA rules and assessment and risks his own position if he doesn't do things by the letter. Cisse, a 30 year-old, experienced footballer, should know a lot better. Time and again we've been victims of our own naivety which shouldn't be the case given the amount of experience in the side.

Its got nothing to do with how intelligent people are, cheating = winning in football, cheating = a ban in rugby. Its no more than that.
