Since we were sat there 3-0 down in 9 minutes at home to Arsenal, then 4-0 down after 26 minutes. Only for a rip roaring last 22 minutes of the game which would see Newcastle come back to 4-4 and nearly win it when Kevin Nolan hit a shot wide in the 93rd minute. Can still remember sitting there watching the game thinking Premier League history could be made at the time when we were losing 4-2.

    At 4-1, I was happy we'd got a consolation.

At 4-2, I was urging us on to see if we could get another.

At 4-3, I genuinely thought we could do it.

And at 4-4, I went ****ing crazy.

Funny I was just talking about this game. At half-time to my shame I honestly wanted to go home.

Thank God I didnt. One of the best games I have ever seen at SJP.

I remember I was playing Rome: Total War all afternoon, beginning when Walcott scored after 9 minutes.
I turned it off about an hour and a half later and it was 4-3 and I just knew we'd do it.

It was the first Prem game I attended, guy next to me left at half time :p Really superb atmosphere and I don't think that has been matched since until we played Man U last month!

I was behind the opposite goal to all the goals, but I was right behind Tiote curling in his equaliser - superb! We even had a legit Besty goal disallowed.

Greatest game I've ever been too (just edges the 5-1 over the mackems). I remember when we got the penalty at 4-0 no-one cheered, no-one stood up as it was taken and hardly anyone cheered when it was taken. When Best tucked in at 4-2 there was a cheer but nothing excessive, then everyone kind of realised there was 15 mins left, we were playing really well, we'd scored 2 in the last 15 against Wigan and the atmosphere really got bubbling. Ranger went close and the pressure was builiding I remember feeling really sick when waiting for the 2nd penalty to be taken but as for the fourth goal, who knows? Barton chipped the ball in, it was headed out one of two idiots ( ;) ) shouted shoooooooooot and then everything goes blank. I regained focussesess with my arms clamped around my mate (no homo) and Arsenal were kicking off haha. From 4-2 to 4-4 is the best 10 minutes of football I will ever see and the best atmosphere I will ever experience, though as a whole the first half of the 5-1 was unbelievable too.

When we beat Man U last month walking back to car through Grey Street the whole City was jumping.

I spoke to Toon fans who were over the moon and then Man U fans who couldnt believe what had happened.

    I turned my stream off.
Then checked the FT result and died of a heart-attack...
    Will teach me.
