Love it Rebel: "Now prepared to go to prison for his principles. Which would leave us a tad short in midfield." My word, pure Wilkins!... Spoken with true blue and white hooped blood...
He just can't ****ing help himself can he? It would be almost tolerable if he was a half decent player! Worst mistake of Warnock's reign signing Barton!!
The Daily Mail for some reason really hate QPR. I have noticed many dergatory articles this season and even a double pager saying how well Norwich and Swansea had done with their meagre budgets compared to the free spending Rangers. I have read many match reports of theirs this season and wondered if they were actually at the game. One Andy Townsend summary about us was incredulously inaccurate. Maybe the Daily Mail is full of Chelsea fans!?!?!
what we've come to expect from him is talk, mistakes and excuses yet he'll be the first to jump ship if we get relegated. I'm sick of him.
I heard on the Radio 4 Today programme earlier this week that, if found guilty, Terry could face a fine of £2,500. If this is true, what's the bloody point? How much has it cost to bring this prosecution? The whole thing is frankly absurd.
The fails sports writer is a norwich fan, he doesnt like it that we beat them to the title. Just dont read it at all. Its the worst paper out there.
It's no worse than any other tabloid. They each have their own angle, their own political bias, their own readership demographic.
In this case there will be three magistrates who decide Terry's fate. They can have their heads turned by defamatory pre-trial material as much as the next person. This whole 'how much is it costing?" argument is also ignorant. If found guilty Terry will get a £2,500 fine, be ordered to pay court costs and have a criminal record. I work for the local rag and day in, day out I see people in court for petty crimes like stealing a joint of meat or shouting and swearing in public. Of course it costs to bring a prosecution, but what's the alternative? Let them get away with it? PS. Barton says he didn't see or hear anything so if he was to be a witness, he'd be the worst one ever.
Cheers Joey Point taken. Why it's important that this doesn't get thrown out, is if it is, the FA could get away with not charging him themselves. But if he is convicted for it, it leaves them with no other choice than to punish him. And punish him hard!
The magistrates will be Masons who have already had the handshake from the FA Lodge at Wembley. I smelt a rat when they delayed the case until July so that it didnt interfere with the Chelsea training schedule. They will look for an excuse to get John Terry off the hook and blame the miscarriage of justice on a hapless scouser.
