Robert Snodgrass

You really have seen some of the best of this lad in the past two seasons :L

From what I hear he nearly scored a scorcher against you yesterday again, just like he did in the same fixture last season, and then obviously his goal.

Becchio the same, hatrick against you at Elland Road last season and a goal today.

 

Good player no question.

 

oh for **** sake, we going to have leeds fans on our board for the next week now......

I was suprised Snodgrass did not go to a big club in the window like Howson did

 

Shame for him that he left an even bigger one in the process, eh?

 

Snodgrass did score against us. Was it a great goal, no it wasn't. I think both the other two goals were better. Snodgrass was very grateful that our whole defence ran across to our right handside of the pitch and gave him plenty of space on the left giving him time to score.

He was one of a couple of Leeds players that should have been sent off but as the ref wasn't fair to both teams then no surprise, as He was already on a yellow and then brough Stead down on the edge of your box which last time I checked is a yellow card offence especially given the challenge to bring the big man down, but with an arm round the ref all was forgiven.

I do think he is wasted at this level and could be playing at a higher level so guess question has to be asked why no club comes in for him? did hear that he doesn't have a very good attitude

 

It's sad, but based on the current situation, no he hasn't!!
Leeds has a big ground (and a big fan base), but an owner who does not want to spend any money

 

I must congratulate the Leeds goalie - a couple of fantastic saves kept them in the game!!
James on the other hand only had a little work to do - picking the ball out of the net and throwing it to the centre spot 3 times!

 

His attutide's fine, although there have been rumours of alcoholism for a while. Not that he's unfit in any major way. And Norwich came in for him twice, but we rejected their most recent offer of 4m and put an 8m price on his head to deter other clubs from bidding.

I define club size (not greatness or success) by fanbase since it's the only measurable and fair way I can think of, but I don't want to get into this argument for the umptillionth time!
