The FA are corrupt

Discussion in 'Chelsea' started by District Line, Feb 3, 2012.

  1. That's just the thing.

Terry arrogantly believed that by delaying the trial until after the Euros, he'd be guaranteed to play.

It's clear that he won't step down voluntarily, as he lacks any humility. The FA doesn't have the balls to suspend him. So, we are reliant upon Capello (and Italian) to do the decent thing and refuse to pick him.

In short, don't hold your breath, lads.

Terry didn't arrogantly do anything of the kind and shows that you read zip but comment without knowledge. Chelsea asked for the trial to be put back for footballing reasons, the judge could have said no but agreed with Gourlay that Chelsea would be disadvantaged by a trial during the season where other players would be called as witnesses.

Would you step down if you were innocent Hiag? its not a matter of humility but one of belief. As for him being denied the right to play it again hinges on allegations that are not proven no matter how much you spuds want it to be. So please try to understand the actual facts and not the rubbish you have clearly been spoon fed.

Any newspaper, the BBC. Ferdinhand wont be there another mis-information for you <doh> Terry is in court because a fan phoned the police after seeing it on TV and not as you suppose that Ferdinand made a grievance against him.

You really need to get off the net and do some living. <ok>

If Terry had the right qualities to be England captain then (1) he would have voluntarily stood down from the England captaincy as soon as he was charged so as not to embarass the FA, (2) stood down as Chelsea captain for the same reason and (3) made sure his lawyer strenuously opposed the delay of the trial so that his name would be cleared before the Euros.
That he did none of these says nothing about his guilt but everything about his suitability to be captain of anything.

Couldn't agree more. Ones ability as a footballer is far less important than their character and sense of ethics.

There is not one player alive who would do any of those things today, those values died in the 50's when the players had a pipe and a cuppa at half time you berk <doh>

Does it really matter who tosses the coin during England's quarter final defeat?

I hope you are not right - I don't expect football players to be any better or any worse than other members of society, but surely there is at least one player in the England squad with the integrity to be captain. Even politicians (eg Chris Huhne) know that they have to resign while under criminal charges
