That's it really. I've never liked Liverpool but the past year or so my hatred has grown into something beautiful. I dislike them more than any other team. Not just because of the Carroll/Enrique debacle but half their team seem like horrible scumbags. Bellamy, Suarez, Charlie Adam (diving ****) and Gerrard to name but a few.

Anyone else agree, or have a deep hatred of any other teams ??

I've always hated Liverpool, and always will. Them pinching our players and having Dalglish at the helm has only strengthened it.

    Liverpool, Stoke, Manure.

My hatred of Liverpool skyrocketed when "king" kenny returned. Cannot stand the man he sold Ginola for **** sake!

Yes but he wanted his own team and came in under the instruction to sell players and reduce the wage bill. Kept his own counsel on this and never moaned about his treatment here. He was on a hiding to nothing following Keegan. People always say "he sold Ginola, Ferdinand etc and brought in has beens" but he had to in the main as the club could not sustain the levels we were operating at. If you actually look at Dalglish's net spend in his time, it illustrates perfectly the constraints he was under. He had a net spend of about 5m. I think he'd have sold Ginola anyway of course because he was not his type of player. You can't hold that against a manager, only the chairman for appointing the wrong type of guy.

Again when you actually look at the facts, he was given a very raw deal by our board and fans. I spoke to the guy personally and he is a really nice fella. I had to ask him as it was burning me up inside at the time, why he sold Les. He was very direct and to the point "not my choice, board decided you couldn't keep a 30 odd year old on those wages". Asked him did he have to sell them all and he just said "not getting into that, its a great club". The man has an air of class about him.

All said and done he managed to finish a season in 2nd having taken over with us in 4th He then had to oversee wholesale change at the request of the club and to get his own team, still managed to retain PL status and get to a FA Cup final and beat Barca 3-2 and give us one of our best nights in the CL. We were ust never gonna have the patience after Keegan. Don't forget how many of the bluechip brigade he signed too who served us so well in the future. Speed, Solano, Given were all Dalglish signings.

My 'beef' isn't so much with Kennie, although I don't really like him. It's more the players and the fans...

...that said the amount of money he has spent since he's been there and the fact they are only 7th makes me laugh more than anything.

Yes I am serious. Why would I have anythign against them or Liverpool? Dalglish is a smashing bloke and was not to blame for his time here. I can't really think of anything to hate Liverpool for. Indeed when Iwas growing up there was always a strong bond between the sets of fans. Both were strong working class areas with very loyal fanbases. We'd had a lot of ex Liverpool players through the doors and they nicked a few from us down the years. The modern fans hate any club who sign one of the players you don't want to leave (Carroll/Enrique) but it has not always been that way and shouldn't be either. Transfers are part and parcel of football.

I like Kenny he was a great player and is a great manager but I lost some respect for him with the Suarez saga.

Depends how view that too though. All he was saying is that he didn't like that everyone was calling Suarez a racist. He isn't. he simply used what would be considered racist terminology in this country. In his own country he'd have been fine saying what he said. The fact he used on a football field in this country is not acceptable under our laws and therefore he deserved to be punished. But his public hanging, fine and 8 game ban was out of order. Especially when you consider not two years earlier an english player in the lower divisions used language much worse, got a £2500 fine and a three game ban! A boss will always defend his player and if I was Suarez and Dalglish hadn't supported me, then I would have lost respect for him and struggled to play under him.

As I said originally it's a lot of the players:
Suarez (racist, cheat, world cup incident)
    Bellamy (need I say anymore)
    Carroll/Enrique (as above)
Gerrard (tagged this honest English player who in actual fact dives a he'll of a lot and somehow got away with knocking a djs teeth out)
    Adam (diver)

The fact that they backed Suarez after the racism thing (which was not one isolated incident but an entire game of abuse) and all wore those shirts I thought was really disgraceful and a middle finger to the anti racism campaigns. classy.

The fans seem to think they are still one of the best clubs in Europe which always seems to irk me too.
