Please help. I can't stop going on the spurs board and winding them up. I've tried to stop, I really have, but I just can't resist. Any ideas of how I can break this awful but enjoyable habit?

It's hard not to. Spurs fans are just unbearable at the moment and all firmly believe we're bitter at the fact theyre third for the first time in twenty years....TWENTY YEARS! Pathetic club with vicious fans

I come on the Liverpool to read Liverpool fans' opinions. You love it? You're a very sad little boy.

    Serious question Yid.
What do you think of Bale's more free role? He was harder to predict than when he's on the wing, but to me he seems for effective out wide. Of course, I don't watch him every week, so i wondered what you thought?

Sometimes it works - sometimes it doesn't. Last night it didn't.

He should have stayed on the left last night and enabled Assou-Ekotto to form an effective overlap. As it happened, he drifted into central midfield too often to get the ball, which nullified his pace somewhat.

He was poor overall last night - I expected a better finish from his 1-on-1 (although Reina did save well) and Bale's dive was bad, as was his reaction afterwards.

    ---------------------

On the topic of Liverpool - I personally think they should have won last night. With our injuries, Liverpool really should've taken advantage - we defended well but the 2 good chances Liverpool got (Carroll half-volley and Suarez free header) weren't finished well at all.

I think that is a very fair assessment. Defensively, you worked well as a unit and we struggled to find space. We were careless with a lot of our balls and that let us down. So having slept on it a draw was probably a fair result.

On that incident, Agger was about a foot away from his foot. He got up ah shoved Agger. Was this not a red?

I was certain he was going to score at that point and nick the game.
I think overall we showed you far too much respect. You've had a great season so far and I think we were too wary of that. We'd have done much better if we'd gone all out to win the game from the off.
Think the 4-0 was on our minds too much. You deserved to win that game, but not really by that margin.

Perhaps - if Bale were here he'd probably say Agger put him off balance causing him to fall (despite there being no contact).

I think the thing that saved Bale was probably Agger going over to say something to him (if Bale had just got up and pushed Agger with no provacation he'd have been off).

Either way - I don't like to see that from Bale and I'm not gonna sit here and defend him.

You've got a good point there saint. The 4-0 did have an effect. Pity because it was a scoreline that flattered Spurs. No argument that they deserved to win - we were terrible that day. However we have to remember that even having lost Agger and then Adam and playing really poorly, we were still technically in the game until we were reduced to 9 men.

Like you, I think that a more offensive approach from the start could well have proved fruitful.
