I think the whole Suarez affair has made it virually impossible for any neutral to have any respect for him anymore. You can see what he is trying to do at Liverpool, creating this 'us against the world mentality' thats served Mourinho so well over the years. The only difference being is that Mourinho is a world class manager and he isn't. I find his interviews embarrassing, and i just wish some journo's would stand up to him a bit more, abit like Andy Burton did last night.
He's a complete and utter Class A Merchant Banker. Can't stand him or the club. Annoys me even more when as soon as he hears a chant with his name in, even the first letter sung he's around waving his hands to the crowd. W***er.
Liverpool were always a club I had affection for, from the 70's and 80's when they helped cement English footballs dominance of European silverware. These days I'd even want the skunks to beat them................. Well almost. Lol I find myself wanting Liverpool to lose every game with a passion and much of that I attribute to this 'chip on his shoulder' sweaty sock and his overall persona. I really do dislike him immensely.
At last. Something we can all agree on. Dalglish is a miserable twat. Having said that, I would have thought that Sunderland fans would hold him dear to their hearts, for the way he dismantled Keegan's entertainers, and replaced many of the flair players with his over the hill pals, such as John Barnes, Ian Rush etc. Don't rate the man at all. For example, he took a talented young Jon Dahl Thomassen, who specialised in ghosting into the box, from midfield, like the great Martin Peters, and tried to turn him into a traditional english type centre forward. He ruined him in the process, and he left as a flop, only to go on to be a huge success, with both Feyenoord (55 goals in 122 appearances) and AC Milan (22 goals in 76 appearances). He also scored 52 goals for Denmark, in 112 appearances. With the bindippers, Dalglish has spent fortunes on what was supposed to be exciting young english talent, and turned them into crap. The Midas Touch in reverse, so to speak. Long may he continue in this work!
I got into football just as he moved from celtic to Liverpool and he became my all time favourite player. Also have great admiration for him in the dignified way he dealt with the Hillsborough tragedy. So it is a great pity to see what he's descended to from managing the mags onwards
His defence of Suarez is just an embarrassment now, I know a couple of old school Liverpool fans and I'm pretty sure they would agree with me. The short time Suarez was on last night, he continually dived and screamed at the ref. HE hand balled in the Spuds area then screamed for handball against the Spuds. He fouled Parker as the ball was coming in, when the foul didn't work he deliberately kicked Parker. Should have been a straight red. Dalglish, "He didn't see Parker" You're becoming an embarrassment to a great club Kenny!
Not a great manager. I would of handled the Suarez thinq differently but I can see why Dogleash stuck by him.
