I would like too apologise for the comments, that our manager made about the young lad Meyler.

But unfortunately i cannot. The guy is a total tool & deserves all the **** he gets.

Since we have come up to the prem, our manager, season upon season has got worse in his comments to the media. He should just go back to the first seaons attitude, smile & say **** all. To come out & blatantly call someone a cheat, is downright disrespectful & totally out of order.

I was never a person with admirable respect for our manager, but he is now losing very fast any respect that i do have for him, just shut the **** up, manage the club & stop trying to deflect the obvious glaring faults about our **** poor performances onto anything that has nothing to do with the club.

All the best Sunderland for the rest of your season.

Cheers Huth..As I stated earlier in this thread, I have a lot of respect for the vast majority of Stoke fans on here, and my gripe is certainly not with them...

I think things a bit heated on here over the past few days, with both sets of posters backing/attacking the others set of fans

    Re: the Tackle/Sending Off

Personally i can see both sets of fans points of view

Re: the lad trying to get a fellow pro sent off

Really do not think he would do that

Re: Your players response(too an alledged bad tackle)

Heat of the moment reactions, happens in every game up & down the country every weekend

Re: The Reaction of Huth after the incident

Realised he was probably a bit late, put his arm up to acknowledge he fouled him ( no intent in my eyes to hurt the player )

    Re: Pulis aftermatch comments

WRONG, WRONG & WRONG AGAIN, with a capital WRONG

Well said Huth, as MRaw said the majority of your lot are top lads.

What got everyone's backs up was the fact Pulis accused the lad of cheating and no contact, when clearly there had been. Quite obviously a couple of your lot took Pulis's comments as Gospel and backed his view and his venom!

Personally I have defended Stoke on previous occasions about the way they played football, as they played to the strengths of their players and it worked for quite awhile. And was proved very effective at times.
You now have some very good footballers brought in who have shown you are capable of playing football, your manager seems incapable of getting the best from them though.
That was my own personal gripe with Steve Bruce, he just didn't seem to have a plan "B".

Best of luck for the rest of the season. (And I mean it as I class Stoke as proper football club.)

No, I'm disputing it, if an amoeba is a single cell, then it doesn't have a brain cell.

Ah, I wasn't sure if you knew that, or had confused an nucleus with an actual brain cell.

    Mighty Huth
I KNOW you get slated sometimes on General chat... BEST post of the day so far..
To Makem's Rule, Mr R A White I have NEVER fallen out with any Sunderland fans before..
Some things? I have said since Saturday if they offended you sincerely sorry to you all.

As for Mighty Huth he is ONE of our BEST posters because I believe like myself agree or not.
He say's it how he see's it.. so do I.

Pulis is an idiot no doubts about that. He's done well but now and BEFORE the game on Saturday??
NO he's lost it IMHO. Huth has said he's sorry.. brilliant for him too..

Sorry guys but I have NOT seen it and read what Huth said.. but well done him.

For me, it's sad that ONE incident can ruin what was a pretty good humoured chat with you guys ALWAYS has been.

I will join Huth, Migthy Huth and wish you all the best for the rest..

I am SORRY for what Huth did, so is he.. as for Pulis.. the sooner he's gone as far away as is possible.

The happier I will be. NOT all Stoke fans think that way, but I don't really give a monkey's.

I HOPE the BAN Tony Pulis and let someone else stand on that touchline instead. Like ANY decent manager would at least BOLLOCK his player's for playing sheeite footie.

To be honest though, it seems that you guys are on the warpath, I don't really get it, I had not said anything, but most of the things that I have read on this, and many other, threads has insulted me.
So it's no surprise when someone responds like that.
If you want people to talk to you in a civil way, then speak to them in the same way (where you is unfamiliar)

It is because I don't think the guy that I responded to was guilty of it, so by 'you' I meant, those on this board, and not YOU.
Putting that bit in brackets was supposed to save me time, but now that you've quoted me, I suppose I'll have to leave my post as it is

Now believe this or not....up to you..

I'm still not convinced it was a red......................that'll get me shot down.....

    Conditions etc take a toll....

But Pulis has made the situation a whole lot worse than it should be....

Yes, I agree, but as I said, if people had said it like this instead of **** Pulis then we'd probably all said that we think Pulis has made a bit of an arse of himself, because he has.
I don't really think Huth's tackle was a red but I can't believe TP's surprise at it because we've seen many inconsistent incidents recently and Atkinson dishes out red cards like they're birthday cards.
Just charging in at full pace when you're 6'5" or whatever gives the referee the opportunity to give a red so I don't really see why he rushed in like that; I don't agree with the decision, but I'm not surprised by it at all.

Hi, I have a problem with Stoke, cos' I do not generally like your football and thought a game at the SoL a season or so ago was the worst game of football I had ever been to, and we won!, BUT I admire that Pulis has made the best of what players he has and the fans sort of a la Wimbledon in the 90s and Millwall all the time support their team, 'nobody likes us we don't care sort of thing' is good honest stuff..so generally good luck to you. You got into Europe (where many of your problems may come, from too many games etc) and I think it is good that so called unfashionable clubs make a go of it, it would be good if you could win the trophy. I do not like the barbs having a go at Pulis for being a chav, that is what the middle-class like to call the working class when they want to take the piss.
However Meyler is a good lad and has been out of the game for well over a year and is getting back to fitness, Huth is a big lad I think he realised his mistake but could not pull out Myler hurdled got caught slightly and fell badly, he then felt the knee on which he had just had surgery twice. My own opinion is that Huth was definitely a yellow, but with a hanging judge of a ref, he has sent more players off that anybody else, a red was produced even before Meyler had hit the ground.

So what is Pulis's tirade about, well he must be under a lot of pressure to attack a young professional like he did, scared of having a go at the ref cos of more trouble? I suspect it is a diversionary tactic, Bruce towards the end of his reign blamed everybody else, we the fans were wrong for expected too much. He should concentrate on getting Stoke playing more entertaining football (you have the players) getting on in he Euros and league. I suspect the red will be upheld by the FA and the next time a Stoke player falls over Pulis is going to take so much stick. O and he should apologise profusely to Meyler.
