The last tour was rumoured to make ~15m I think. This one could be even more profitable, and the knock-on effect will be even bigger. It's not so bad for the British fans either, we get to see more matches in pre-season and get a good look at the next youngsters who might break through.

Also the emirates cup is not being held, in England anyway, this year, also due to the olympics.
It's a shame about the Emirates tournament, I enjoy that. But it's understandable. Shame tho, it's lucrative for the club since it's usually broadcast on TV. I'd expect it to be back next year definitely.
