No Capello as England manager- no Terry as England captain.
Most optimistic news for English football for years-
Lets hope the FA don't ask Capello to stay

to get you lot where you are now, he will always be a great manager in my eyes

but seriously, i think Wenger should be asked, he can make a young team who play the right football

You beat me to this news shiny but nonetheless good riddance to him.

We need a homegrown manager to get anything and Pearce is not the answer, just look at his junior record.

The national setup is all wrong due to the self-imorptance of the players and the obvious lack of national pride.

I was at Wembley in 66 and that's what wearing an England shirt should be like - players who gave their all for our country. Don't believe we can ever win a decent title again based on the attitude of today's players.

    Harry Redknapp anybody?

Sorry I cant see the bloke has done anything wrong, This means we have 5 months to go in to another major tournament with an inexperienced international manager,

on about kicking yourselves in the bollocks!

All the lessons learnt from the World cup ****ed in to the air!

This was nothing more than a Little Englander witch hunt left over from the world cup by a largely snubbed media, who quite frankly make me sick.

they've ****ed us over time and time again!

Come on banksy how did he have survive after the World Cup disaster when it was obvious to the entire world that he had picked a bunch of couldn't care less bunch.

Looking at several player's attitude during those games they would never have worn the shirt again and Fabio would have joined them.

Perhaps the players can now focus on the job at hand and that's a reasonable finish at the Euros. I do agree that the managerial issue is a problem and perhaps HR will take it in the summer.

Long shot..David Moyes ? Continually gets the best out of his resources, tactically astute,
    respected and stands no nonsense.

    Speaking as a Welshman here.
But I agree with Massive! The only option you have if you want a Englishman is Rednapp.
No one else English is good enough for the job.
But also what's the odds on Tel making a comeback short term?

Venables is 66-1 but you have Jose as second favourite

    One more Englishman Alan Pardew
