Based at the All Nations pub in Madeley (Richard Madeley family did come from there!!) the pub has been in the GBG for years.

I got the Good Beer Guide 2012 today from Amazon for £9.60. I'm surprised how many pubs have been dropped in shropshire.

 

is that because they have shut down through the bad economic times though

 

No some of them are still there. A great one called 'the Kangaroo' in Aston upon Clun (named after a ship) has been in for years.

If you can ever make a trip for a long weekend - Bishops Castle has six pubs in a small town, most of which sell excellent ale

 

Just dropped in for a pint before I post off my CV for the England job.
