Have a good feeling that he will mark his full début with a goal on Saturday. Really looking forward to him and Lambert racking up the goals being fed by Chung and Adam. Can't wait!
I HOPE that this is the game we get back to winning ways at home. However, Burnley are the best away side in the league, and with our sliding home performances I may put a little wager on 2-0 Burnley. Because then if we do win, I won't be annoyed in the slightest about losing my stake! Davis, Richardson, Fonte, Martin (Hooiveld if fit), Fox. Puncheon, Cork, Schneiderlin, Lallana. Sharp, Lambert. Subs (Bialkowski, Martin/Hooiveld, Hammond, Tadanari, Guly. That's what I'd go with.
I can see Fox having a good game against his old club. Might be worth a flutter on him scoring. will be big odds!
If we play to our full ability then we probably have enough to beat every team in this league as shown by our wonderful start to the season. We know that if we can come out and start well and get some good possession of the football that we have the quality to open teams up and score goals. However over the last few months nothing has been going our way for one reason or another. So although I'd like to see us suddenly back to early season form, destroying teams with 4-0 wins...I think we could need a dodgy penalty decision to go our way, an own goal in our favour or a last minute Davis winner to get back on track, get the confidence, belief and winning mentality back. Once we get a couple of consecutive wins under our belts again, I still believe we can become a real force in this league again.
With Morgan and Cork in the middle and Sharp and Punch in the team, the possesion is there, and the cutting edge. I'd put Fox over Harding for this one. Obviously big performance needed badly!
I wouldn't worry too much about Burnley's away form as who would have thought we'd lose to Bristol City with our home form. Burnley recently drew 1.1 with Peterborough, so I'm sure we can get a victory on Saturday.
I can see a big performance coming on Saturday - NA will get them motivated (not that they should need it really, considering what the potential prize is) and can see Sharp scoring on his home debut.
Good to see the optimism returning. Tuesday night was a bad result but the game against Brum was good for us and that's where we need to continue from. We'll be putting out a strong team on Saturday and we've a good chance of re-gaining the initiative.
