    Serious question, mind not sure I will get a serious answer but why is the hatred so deep.

    I know about the protestant/catholic thing, Irish English but I honestly dont know the history of the two clubs and why, even now it continues.

    My other half is a catholic from Glasgow, no real intrest in football and easy going but, mention Rangers and she goes mental, when I ask why I get aduse and all about them being rejects but no real reason and I'm far to scared to ask her.

    That's probably true. They're the bitter rivals of eachother. One's a club with deep set sectarian roots. The other is Glasgow Celtic Football Club.
