BREAKING NEWS Blackburn Rovers boss Kean: Samba has injury and won't face QPR 2:22pm Thursday 9th February 2012 in News STEVE Kean has revealed that Chris Samba will be unavailable for Saturday's visit of QPR to Ewood Park after picking up a hamstring injury earlier this week. The wantaway Rovers defender was due to play in a reserve game against Carlisle two days ago but pulled out due to the niggle. Jason Lowe has been declared "touch and go" by Kean to take on QPR after struggling with an ankle injury. Gael Givet begins his three-game ban on Saturday, but striker Yakubu returns to face the Hoops after completing a four-match suspension.
I don't think it would have made much of a difference either way, for better or for worse. I don't think he's absolutely their best defender and we can still break them down either way.
Hes going to het a lot of niggles and have the flu 10 times before the end of the season. its worked out perfectly for us, he wont play for them and we can get him in the summer for a reduced price.
There defence is looking a bit shaky - Givet was being played out of position and he's now suspended. And isn't Lowe a defender too?
here's a thought....can't we offer Danny s and One Size to Blackburn as a down payment for Samba whilst we are up there. Pretty sure that MH and his crew will have a few words with Blackburn's man mountain and suggest that the air and water in West London is more pallatable.......
