Yeah, but when it gets to the point where, like in the Steve Beaton game against Magnus Caris, the fans (of Beaton) began to, in unison, go whoooooaaaaaaa! getting louder until Caris threw his dart. That was way beyond unacceptable. Caris was well ahead and was visibly upset by this treatment, the game requires a fair amount of concentration, and Beaton won a match, that he should have lost and would have, had his supporters not acted in this unfair way.
Well cricket is classed as a sport as is snooker we best get rid of them as well then if excitement counts![/QUOTE] Unfair a tightly balnced test is just as exciting as an extra time cup winner. The last day of the Edgbasten 2005 ashes test was a moment of sporting excitment which will be rarely overcome in my opinion.

The gift of the gods, the game of legend, of fair play, sportsmanship. The phrase, that's not cricket, could you imagine someone saying, that's not football.

Just because a sport is perceived by some as boring doesn't take away the fact that it's still a sport.
Cricket, snooker, football, darts can all the incredibly boring sports and incredibly amazing sports, depends on a number of things.
Cricket is one of the most exciting sports at times. Granted it can be very boring at times but a lot more often it is exciting
My last memory of cricket was actually positive it was when the ashes used to be live on CH4 and we have a tv at work we can watch. I remember when it started somebody put it on and I said get that **** off! I ended watching it religiously til the end!
If you are lucky enough to come from Sussex, it's brilliant. I've seen them win more trophies in the last 10 years or so, than Pompey and Saints combined. 3 league titles 2 div 2 titles 2 Pro 40's 1 Pro 40 div 2 1 FP title 1 T20 Not bad in a decade!
