Morning all, yet another drama to keep the England team occupied prior and probably during a major tournament <doh>

On a brighter subject my little boy is now giving kisses to his big sister. For an autistic boy who doesn't show much affection, this is HUGE!!!!! :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Sod the England team, my family is happy and Watford have won 2-in-a-row......what else could I possibly want. <ok>

Good news there Sandy, I hope that things continue to improve. <ok>

Very cold night again and I have a frozen pipe. <wah>

Yesterday afternoon I did make a trip out in the car to town. The lane from the village to the main road was fine after the efforts of the mayor, however he needed to go another eight miles as no work had been done to clear that road. Rutted snow and ice, and just a single track down the middle was not fun, especially when I met a timber lorry with a small forest on it. Never mind, got to town and back in 3rd gear and no damage done. ;)

Thanks Frenchie, he's showing lots of signs of improvement in his communication since we swapped him onto Channel Islands milk. Amazing what a small change in diet can do?

Glad you got back home ok, nothing like near death driving to get the heart pumping!!! I love driving in snow and ice, really focuses the mind <ok>

Petrol has risen in price by Kr.5,00 and diesel by Kr.2,00. They are Kr.248,30 and Kr.255.80 here now, GBP1,27 and GBP1,33 which is very expensive.

Thats cheap compared to where i am AK. Here in Cambridgeshire the cheapest is £1.33 for petrol and £1.37 for Diesel. In Watford I find that the Sainsburys at the Dome is the cheapest at £1.30 (it was £1.28 2 weeks ago)

Spend over £60 in Tesco and you get a 10p off a litre voucher..Petrol is £1.35 at my local Tesco, so that it means £1.25 a litre - bit of a drive for you though AK (yikes)

Thanks guys, the next step will be to take Gluten out of his diet. The full diet is GFCF (Gluten free, Casein free), but as so much food has gluten in it we are taking the time to look into it properly. We are going to be getting full Guernsey milk from a farm in Bucks every fortnight from now on. It's a 130mile round trip but worth it if it continues to help him, plus my in-laws live closer and have agreed to also go every fortnight. So only having to make the one trip every 4 weeks.

We seem to be very lucky, as we have a lot of support from the nursery, physio, speech therapist and the Early Years team. Most of this has been down to Mrs Sandy chasing them all, plus our nursery is amazing (they have 3 sites in our area and all have 'outstanding' Ofsted ratings).

How Shakespearean - "never vanquish'd be until / Great Birnam Wood to high Dunsinane Hill / shall come against him", MacBeth.
Do you know which wood was coming towards you Frenchie?

Well it didn't have a name on it, but looked pretty sad for itself.

Maybe it came from Nottingham? ;)

It had plummeted by 3p at one point when the new garage first opened. If only they had the common sense to realise that if they sell it for 5p per litre cheaper they would get much more custom and make more profit!! Grrrrr

Don't go into the business then Dan if that's what you think. The profit margin on petrol tends be around 4p or less per litre - discount it by more than that and the more you sell, the more you lose. :(

Not to sound rude BB. But this was the advice from a lecturer who has 20 years in financial services, sales and marketing.
